Summary:
403 errors
Original Request:
When I try to preview or post a comment, whether using QuickReply or the separate talkpost_do page, I get 403: Permission denied errors. These occur when logged in, when commenting on my own posts, and when commenting on public posts, so I do not think the problem is that I actually do not have permission. Usually I am able to post after refreshing the page a few times, and I don't lose the text of my comment. But I think this is a persistent but intermittent problem, rather than something that previously went wrong and is now resolved.

What further information do you need to be able to troubleshoot this? It's really quite annoying, though not absolutely fatal.

Hi there!

One of our sysadmins identified a Cloudfront issue that we believe is responsible for the recurring 403s. It should be clearing up over the course of the next day or so. Thanks for letting us know about the problem!

Best,
