Summary:
Scrollbar not working correctly in new CSS editor, Firefox only
Original Request:
Tested on Windows 11 only; editor seems to work fine in all respects in:
--Edge 115.0.1901.203
--IE 11 mode within Edge
--Opera One 101.0.4843.33
--Chromium dev build 117.0.5925.0
Only Firefox with or without using Troubleshooting Mode with all add-ons and preferences disabled, has this scrollbar issue.
I don't currently have access to earlier Windows OS versions so can't say if the scrollbar goes missing in Firefox on all Windows operating systems or only while using Firefox on Windows 11, though that might be worth looking into.
I've uploaded a screencap of what appears to be the editor's missing scrollbar in Firefox: https://marahmarie.dreamwidth.org/file/633911.jpg (set to public)
The screencap shows the first 10 lines of code and shows the textbox has no scrollbar. If I use my laptop's Down Arrow to scroll within the textbox a very thin, tiny, hard to see scrollbar will suddenly show up at roughly lines 11/12.
If I don't start using the scrollbar immediately it disappears within a few seconds and the process of having to use the laptop Arrow keys within the textbox to regain the scrollbar's presence must be repeated. The scrollbar doesn't stay visible once I stop using the Arrow keys or scrolling with the scrollbar.
I mentioned in an earlier request and earlier post that Firefox Find functionality isn't working with the new CSS editor, which is still true, but I see tonight that Find *does* work in Troubleshooting Mode, so apparently it's down to one of my add-ons interfering (haven't found which one but will amend to add it once I do).
Diagnostics: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/116.0

Forgot I have Windows 10 installed on an older tower so just tried the CSS editor on Win10 in Firefox version 116.0.2 (same Fx version as I'm using on Win11, above) and the scrollbar shows up and works perfectly so the issue seems tied to Firefox on Win11 only.
And it's Adblock Plus interfering with Find in Firefox on Win11 only. On Win10 ABP in Firefox doesn't interfere with the Find functionality at all.

On second thought I'm going to close and resubmit this request at a future date after I do some more testing. I just realized the compiler is having the same hidden/almost impossible to find and use scrollbar in Firefox on Win11 and that I didn't check for textbox expanders in other browsers or even in Firefox tonight to see if that's a Fx on Win11 only issue as well. Hopefully I can consolidate the next request to lay everything out more clearly.
