If you're coming from LiveJournal to Dreamwidth: Crossposting
Dreamwidth enables you to configure your account to crosspost entries to at least one and up to five other sites, depending on your account level. You can do this on the "My Account Settings" page under the tab "Other Sites".
You can choose to automatically crosspost all entries made to your Dreamwidth journal, or you can pick and choose which entries to crosspost at the time you're posting. You can also choose to disable comments on the remote site automatically and include a (customizable) message on the other site pointing people to your entry on Dreamwidth.
