Summary:
While posting, Disable Auto Formatting box is automatically checked.
Original Request:
Today, when I post a new entry, my text becomes one big blob with no newlines or paragraph breaks. I noticed the Disable Auto Formatting checkbox at the top right of the posting form. When I uncheck that and save, the post shows paragraph breaks as normal. My post yesterday morning (Feb 14) had the problem. My post on Feb 9 did not, and I have never had it before that.
I haven't noticed the checkbox before. It is resetting to being checked every time I post. I tried restarting my computer and the behavior remained the same. I'm on a Mac running Sequoia 15.2 and I'm posting from Safari. I took a look at the new entry page in Firefox and the checkbox is also checked by default there.
I looked through the settings screens and did not see a way to disable this new behavior.

Please tell me how I can maintain my post's newlines by default. I do not want to have to remember to uncheck that box every time I post. When I edit a post, at least it does stay unchecked. Thank you.

Hi there!
If you remember to uncheck the checkbox before you post your next new entry, it should remember the unchecked status as the new default. The default for the checkbox doesn't change when editing an entry.
