I am submitting this in place of the user it is effecting as they cannot use the site to get to the support menu.

Hi there! Thanks for the report. One of our sysadmins identified a flood of network requests that impacted the availability of our site, and deployed some countermeasures. If the problem comes back, let us know!

Unfortunately, this does not seem to have solved their issue. I have asked them to describe more of the problem below.

Okay so the site has no skin at all firstly
All hover menus do not even show at all (icons, top menus etc )
Can't clear site inbox
All the site icons are missing (the small ones next to the name)
Replying to a thread directs to a new page instead of the usual popup
Clicking expand also redirects to a new page as if you clicked link

Custom CSS still kinda works the alhaitham journal looks mostly normal

I think this might just be forced light mode?? But I dunno
