Summary:
Open ID error
Original Request:
Hi,
I've been using my old blogspot account as an open ID for several years now, but recently it's stopped working. The ID is chipmunkcar.blogspot.com and I keep getting a blank page with "Whoops, that's an error" as the title.
Suggestions?
Diagnostics: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0

Hello Ishani,
My apologies for the delay in getting back to you, but we're unable to reproduce this error. Is it still happening, and if so, which page do you go to that's giving you the error? The reading page, just logging in, your profile, or something else?
Best Regards,
ChemicalLace

Hi,
It is still happening, and it's when I'm trying to log in so I can access a friends-locked journal.
Thanks,
Ishani

Hi Ishani,
Unfortunately this problem appears to be an issue with blogspot OpenID accounts anywhere on the internet, and it is something that Google needs to fix on their end. If you don't want to wait an indeterminate amount of time for that to happen, I would suggest creating a Dreamwidth account and requesting access from any journal that previously granted access to your OpenID account.
Best,
--Jen
