It was during one of this errand that he bumped into a face (familiar, but not the one he knows), pushing him a fair bit from the impact. ]
Ah, terribly sorry about that sir! I should've looked a bit closely to see where I'm going.
[ Kaelas at the very least looked apologetic when he said that, but right now he's trying his best to not show recognition on his face. ]

It's quite alright, lad. Nothing to worry yourself over.
[He'd say he should maybe be a bit more careful—he seems a bit distracted—but that's none of Thancred's business, surely. (For now.)]

It's easier this way, for both of them even if Thancred doesn't realize it.
...wait, maybe he can at least help him a small bit with this. ]
I was a bit too busy trying to get this-
[ He holds up a pendant he's holding. ] To its rightful owner, this lady dropped it while shopping at the stall I'm working at. Mayhaps you've seen this lass? She has brown hair and this tall-
[ Kaelas made a gesture to show that the person he's looking for is a fair bit shorter than the both of them. ]

Actually, on that thought—]
Oh, right. I should probably mention that I am newly-arrived, however. I hope you won't mind leading the way.

Now, where to first? I imagine there must be some sort of entertainment district we can try.
[Given the nature of this place, he'd find it harder to believe if something like that didn't exist... But either way, it just wasn't something he'd spent time looking into yet. The things he was looking for would be better found elsewhere, at least for now.]

Ah, there should be one three blocks from here, the problem would be that the district is always teeming with people looking for something to alleviate their problem.
[ He's used to aimless wandering, and well, if there's any place to start, it'd be that. ]
