Reserves have just opened and apps are right around the corner. But are you still on the fence about any of your would-be characters? Well -- here is your chance to take them out for a spin!

In both of these cases Asami has been here about two weeks.

Situation A: Asami is looking for a swimsuit! ...This is harder than it sounds given she's from a fantasy equivalent of the 1920s! None of the stuff she knows to be very fashionable is in here, and she finds herself biting her lip if not outright frowning at some of these things. What even is a two piece really? This stuff is weird, weird, weird. slightly scandalous too.

Situation B: So apparently you can use this Dome thing to race... and it's the only place to race. And she has no idea how to program this dome thing, but hey she can make a Satomobile whistle out good enough stuff to win any race so how hard could it be.

...Harder than you'd think, it seems]

[Swimsuits? Are the only thing Katara feels comfortable shopping for - they are amazing and she probably owns more of them than she owns of actual clothes, okay? Don't judge, she spends literally all her free summer time at the ocean.

[Ever since she learned about the Battle Dome, Ginia has been using it for training and getting her fix of motorcycle races and driving fancy cars. When she enters the dome that day, she heads over to the console and begins inputting commands for a race track in one of the spare rooms.

She's halfway through her own programming when she notices Asami trying to figure out the console. After a few seconds of pause and quiet debate, Ginia pulls a small notepad and pen out of her pocket and writes out a message, then gives the woman a small smile as the message is held out toward her.]

I am sorry to bother you, but do you need help?

[Asami, for better or worse, does not make note of, well, the offered note immediately. Or the woman. She's actually normally very good at being aware of his situation, but the last time she did this she ended up driving on a cloud and it turns out while, yes, the car could drive on the cloud, too near the edge, the cloud broke off and.

Well you can guess. so she's wide eyed as she wills this console to be easier to manage with her mind]

[....Aaaand then she makes note of someone being next to her.

Well, turning to the attention of person and- Wait they aren't talking- note? She arches and eyebrow but it is written big enough to read, so she just-]

[Her smile wavers slightly as Asami begins to read, knowing it's just as awkward for the other person, if not more so. Even after years of writing out responses, the initial message still feels no less awkward and embarrassing.

She nods and steps a little closer to the console panel Asami is standing in front of, already writing out another message.]

[Mako was just taking a walk around the village today without much of an agenda. The village's a nice place and all, but you run out of things to do real fast. Kinda felt like a big waste of time being stuck here considering how things are back home. But...at least here, Korra wasn't missing anymore.

And Asami is too preoccupied to realize it... at first. It's actually a short pause before she does see Mako when she turns to check out a different rack. Oh.

"Girlfriend" might be an overstatement. But it also might not: to be honest she does still love (like?) her "boyfriend," even if she's furious at him for that argument they had, what prompted it, and how he's acted afterwards. But in Luceti, he didn't seem to be acting the same way and... he didn't have all of the same memories. She doesn't think, anyway. But she can't help but feel indignity rise in her when she sees Mako and flight of fight responses come up as well.

She wouldn't mind a confrontation, but at the same time the last one didn't go well and she hasn't started it up again in Luceti yet. But she also doesn't really want to hide from her boyfriend(?) either. So she decides to just pretend she hasn't noticed him, going about her shopping like it ain't no thang. See what he does and how she feels when he does it]
