[Backdated 8/25 - mini-GP open to team demilich or by request] is anyone dead?
Coming back to consciousness hurt, significantly more than Loki remembered hurting in recent memory. There didn't seem to be a single part of his body that wasn't in some kind of pain, and on top of that he became aware, very quickly, of an odd whistling emptiness that said too much magic. He couldn't even have called one of his knives.
All of that being the case, he didn't move. If the fight was still going on, he intended to stay down. For a little while. Until he had something to act with or on. Or until he legitimately passed out again; that seemed horribly likely, with the way his head was swimming and the warm-wet of blood flowing out instead of staying in.
The desert was essentially silent, though, for the definition of 'silence' that included the sounds of wind and ordinary movement. Footsteps. Voices.
He wasn't dead, then. Was anyone else?

Clarice - Open
After resting and a little (okay a lot) of help getting to the Inn, Clarice crashed on the couch in the lobby. She was just going to rest. God she felt like she was eighty and needed to rest after walking a bit. Maybe she'd invest in a wheeled walker and make her way around the inn. That was just a smart ass thought but one that sadly was a bit appealing at the moment.
Re: Clarice - Open
Thor makes note of that when he sits down in a chair across from her couch. He plans on waiting around until she wakes up, but he realizes once he's settled that she is actually awake.
Thor leans forward, arms folded over his knees and smiles despite it all.
"How are you holding up?"
Re: Clarice - Open
She did, too but she was too tired to share the smile.
Re: Clarice - Open
"Have you seen a healer yet?"
Re: Clarice - Open
She let her gaze roam over him, "you get healed?" Clarice knew that injuries didn't always show on the outside.
Re: Clarice - Open
Thor keeps on smiling.

Re: Clarice - Open
Thor gestures vaguely to the outside, then sinks to the back of the couch.
"-- compared to that, it was nothing," he says, with considerable less bravado.

She didn't just mean her and Thor, though that was strongly implied. She meant all of them that fought the skull.

"Let me get you a drink. If you're dry I'll get you something else." He paused--cutting to the chase took it out of him. "Tony, by the way. Tony Stark. I really admired the way you, ah, repeatedly opened wormholes to teach Bonejangles a lesson."

Re: Clarice - Open
"Clarice. Beautiful--with an appreciation for economics, no less." He winked, and hoped it wasn't too pained. "Drafted, funded, designed, and built all by yours truly. This is the fiftieth iteration, but clearly that are some hinks to work out. Got lovingly abducted by the hotel before I could do much testing back at my lab."
He nodded at her. "Enough about me. Holding up on your end?"
Re: Clarice - Open
"I'll be good. You guys took the brunt more thank I did."
Re: Clarice - Open
"Comes with the territory." He forced his arm back up to gesture at Clarice. "Mind if I ask how you got so good with the portal generation? If not, we can plan our 'We're Only Half-Dead' after party."
Re: Clarice - Open
"You get better at running away when you're being hunted for being different." She said honestly with only a hint of bitter. "When your abilities just appear, you try to figure them out as best you can. Which is why it's generally dumb luck you get better at it."
Re: Clarice - Open
"Can't chalk all that panache to sheer dumb luck. Give yourself a smidgen of credit."
