yep
weird stuff has happened a couple times lately
a few days ago the admin posted saying instabilities detected
and over the course of the day i lost the ability to talk like a normal person
like i couldnt string a sentence together well at all
i heard some other people had trouble controlling their own bodies normally too
lost coordination and stuff
if anyone got anything worse i dont know about it
there was another thing about 10 days ago where our nanomachines had to be resynchronized
dunno how related that is to the network exactly
but we got radiation sickness over the day and some of us went murdery from what i heard
they both went back to normal the next morning when we woke up the usual pinch and paralysis deal

Sounds like nanomachine errors, which could be related to the part of the network they're on. @ADMIN seems to be aware of it, too.

better she is than isnt but it doesnt exactly settle the nerves
were supposed to be on a time limit right
only so long before the cycle is terminated or whatever
and weve seen what malfunctioning nanomachines can cause from clips people have found
not to mention personal experience
but im still wondering how much outside influence might be involved
watson gave you the summary of what happened after we last talked to you right
but weve also been finding clips of these russian people who were here exploring stuff after everything went to shit plus writing on the walls in this super irradiated area
i know you werent here for that part
but have you got any idea what they might have been here for

They could have been sent looking for me, but I can't know for sure. It would depend how long it had been since the incident, as well as the situation in the rest of the world.

and that part i dont know yet
we arent exactly getting news updates and none of these clips have dropped a timestamp for us
ill keep my eyes peeled and see if i can find out anything else
but what about the other part
the cult part
because they have been messing with stuff before
like when eye references got inserted into your messages and last time when you got cut off from talking to us
we got static and the eye symbol and your post disappeared entirely
not to mention the times people have been mind controlled into doing related stuff
and i know people just keep finding more cult stuff while they explore the new areas
they clearly got some kind of access to the network and there was some computer in the building in the industrial zone related to what happened to us there
but im wondering if the cult made it all the way to the center
im pretty sure andromeda did because how else would she be helping us
but when people keep running into some kind of indescribable weirdness whenever they try to dig further about the network or whatever its hard to know just what the heck is going on down there

It's possible. If they were around before all the snow made travel so hard, they wouldn't have even had to make a weird circuitous march there.

ive been trying to avoid that stuff ever since we got out
the only special electronic thing i have is the quantum chips from smashing my tablet but hell if i know what to do with them
or if they could even help for this

You've got chips? That might be helpful if you can hook them up to something.

I don't suppose any of you have any big electronics from home? You might have to try to put together a computer, but that would be a process.

my sunglasses ran out of whatever was powering them a while ago but they had iphone functions
ill have to ask around and see who knows how to build this stuff in the first place
but ok say that somehow we pull our resources and build a computer and hook it up to one of the few places that actually gets power

You'll have to get someone who can work down at the metal. Then you have to see what you can access from where you are. If not, you'll have to move until you find a better place, so it should probably be at least sort of portable.

Sorry, computer thing. Anything you build isn't exactly going to have an OS, so you can't just open up a program or use an app to help you out. You'll need someone who knows computers at that level.

Hopefully you don't have to tear open any walls.

just assume im a dumbass at computer stuff when it comes to hacking or constructing or whatever else
but weve got people who know computers so i can point them at it and maybe we can figure shit out
but heres the other thing
i know the last time people tried to hack the network it fried their tablets so bad they exploded
you got any tips for preventing that because i dont want anyone else to get a face full of shrapnel

You'll need a more powerful machine than the tablets. If they overheated that badly, it was because they couldn't handle what data they were getting.

so
build a computer
make sure its as powerful as we can get it but ALSO portable
make sure someone knows how to make it actually interface with the network and whatever
hook it up somewhere
maybe hook it up somewhere else if that place is a bust
repeat ad hopeful success and we find something good
fix the network if it isnt fixed yet and or general info digging to find out more of whats going on
am i summing it all down right

Yeah. It's not going to be easy. Keep looking for someplace that already has secure computers too.

but at the least i can hand these chips off to somebody who knows what to do with them and pass along the plan

Sorry to interrupt, but if one tablet can't handle it, is there a way to hook up two tablets together? Or more of them? That way it's not all just one machine. It could divide the data up.

"Many hands make light work." Does it work that way with computers, too?

It might be possible, but you'll have to be careful about not triggering any security that's specifically tied to the tablets.

Do you have any advice for that? What should we look out for? Will security things make, like, monsters turn up and attack us with guns? Or blow up the tablets? Or activate our nanomachines and make us throw our tablets out the window?
