Permavideo

[He's sprawled in Walter's bed, sheets mussed, a book barely dangling from his fingertips, inches away from the floor, pages fanning out around his pale, childish hand. The NV is on the floor, skewed to an angle, capturing both the book and the vampire on the bed in the tangle of sheets, who appears to not realize the device turned on when it hit the floor.]

The disgusting taste of that human food lingers. The desire to consume it was not my own, I'm sure of that. Tch. Even a fledgling knows not to eat human food.

It even overpowers the delicious memory of maiden Hellsing blood and the virile bouquet of my partner's lingering taste.

[He looks directly at the camera and smiles a sharkish smile. Nope. He knew it was on.]

Oops.

[ A shadow tendril clicks it off.]

[Not sure if she's...not sure she wanted to know that, or more intrigued by what sounds like a brand new culture of vampire romance.

Or just trolling.

I cannot tell if there is a legitimate complaint or simply a public dig at your partner taking place here.

The part about food or the part about how blood tastes?

[That part becomes imminently clear.]

I see. Does that double as courting as well? I am genuinely curious how this works for other species.

Yes sometimes, if the intentions were not platonic. We would call that romantic hate, when you attempt to instigate someone for the sake of pissing them off and deriving pleasure from that itself.

Which sometimes happens between partners.
