Test-Drive Meme!
TEST-DRIVE MEME

Maybe you've considered appping a new character but you're not sure how well they would adjust to the in-game scenario? Well, here's a chance to give it a try!
• Post with a character journal you'd like to voicetest or you've considered apping to Ruby City. Feel free to play them as newcomers or as if they've been here for a while - the setting is your own choice.
•Respond to other threads with new characters or with characters who are already in the game.
• Explore different interactions, find castmates, develop possible CR - anything you want, as long as you have fun!
U.S. of America (Amelia F. Jones) † Nyotalia
Because.
Which means...]
--I totally figured out how to cross dimensions or something! Yeah!!
[That has to be it. Does it matter if she's just blurted that out for no apparent reason?
No.]
Okay girl. You got this. You're gonna find the dudes responsible and save the day and go home!
Fuck yes.
[she pumps a fist into the air and trots along quickly, looking so very fabulous in her bomber jacket and pleated skirt.]

...Okay fine you're not a little girl but wow what an interesting jacket you have. The guy who's just heard you talking is wearing one just like it actually.]
Kickass bomber, I thought I was the only one who had one like that!
[Talk about blurting things out. But hey. You look like you could be his sister, girly~]

Hey thanks! [--huh? He has-- no way, man. Why's this guy look familiar...]
Dude, where'd you get that? [she pouts] It's really cool, 'cause it looks just like mine, so don't get me wrong! What's up stranger?
no subject
Anyway, not much up here. Just wanderin' through the city and wonderin' who you are! I don't think I've ever seen you before, but...I'unno, you look familiar. What's your name?

[Well he'd have to be a bloody fool not to realise who this is. The thought of turning on his heel and running is one he seriously considers.
His surprise, however, has left him pressed to the nearest wall that happened to be to hand and he's quite.. blatantly.. staring before he clears his throat and questions weakly.]
... America?

[Give him a moment. A female Romano, he could deal with. A female Russia had been interesting, but.. this? This is a bit much even for him.
'A bit' being the epitome of British understatement.]
Show some manners, for heaven's sake. British dude.. honestly.. This is going to be difficult for you to wrap your head around, I'm sure, but I'm England.

I wonder if it's her age... Maybe she's going senile!

Enough.
He straightens up and it's with that old, long-burning fire in his eyes that he approaches her and looks at her coolly.]
Now, you listen here, young lady. I don't put up with that kind of talk from the America where I come from and I won't be putting up with it from you, either. Am I making myself quite clear?
[Can't quite keep the irritation out of his voice.]

[America beams.] Make it coffee and you got yourself a deal.

Coffee and apple pie. How's that sound?
[Now he really wants pie. Ooops.]

[Now she really wants pie.]
no subject
Hell yes. With the crust nice and flaky too.

Her enthusiasm is amusing, however, and causes him to smile.]
I don't think you'll be able to find anyone able to send you home. From what I've been told, nobody leaves of their own choice. [Not that he wants to leave. As much as he misses his friends, Harry's family is here and he wants to spend as much time as possible with them.]

What can I say? I just like reaching for the impossible.
