Is this what humans call magic?
Who: Jetstorm, OPEN
Where: In da city
When: NAOW-ish?
What: Meet n greet
Warnings: Cute. So much cute. And possibly lots of confusion. For Jetstorm.
[There's not much more disorienting than following your sensei back to the ship and suddenly, those aren't trees you're passing by, but tall structures - buildings, to be sure. They look almost Cybertronian in nature, but he can't remember Cybertron looking this worse for the wear the last time he saw it. No way it was. They'd been in the process of rebuilding it, years into the process of rebuilding it. Highways had been clean, buildings stood tall and pristine, and that group of craters and mess was not in the middle of the road, no they were not.]
[He's not going crazy. He's sure of it. But those were not there a moment ago. For that matter, things that had been there are now gone. The trees, the bushes, the dirt under his feet, Master Drift, Slipstream...]
[Wait, that's accurate, right? His teacher and partner? Jetstorm looks all around him in a growing panic.]
Master Drift? Slipstream?!
[Yeah, nope, they're definitely not around. And if this is some kind of training, it's the most realistic simulation he's seen to date. When did their exercises get so sophisticated?]

finally gets to this
Anyhow, he's coming in from the air in one of his classic cannonballs, body slamming a big pile of scrap metal into more scrap metal. Watch out for shrapnel, Jetstorm.
Rising from the junkpile, Grimlock sees the little minibot and comes running over.]
Hey, you're that little guy hangin' around uh...Drift, right right hehe.
[Grim he just said Drift.]
omg OWO
[blink]
[That might've been a small earthquake under his feet if he hadn't seen the cause of it come rushing up to greet him. Still, he's glad for another familiar face. Have tinysmile]
Yes. I am Jetstorm. And you are Grimlock. I know you. [He peers around at the... well, he can't really tell what Grim was working on and what was already broken and busted.] Are you working on renovating this area?
no subject
[When the dust clears, he shakes off the remaining dirt like a dog playing in mud. He crouches down to Jetstorm's level smiling.]
Does renovating mean smashin' stuff?? Cause then I LOVE renovatin'!
no subject
In a way. It is making things like new again, but sometimes one must destroy to make new.
no subject
[Give him a minute.]
In that case, I made a whole lotta new little stuff!
my god he smiles more at Grimlock than anyone
I think you did. At least it could be used for... a walkway, instead of a road, in case there are others like us who do not have wheels or wings to get around.
grimlock has that affect on people
Hey...I didn't think of that! Why I'm helping people with this wreckin' stuff!
THIS IS AWESOME
This is true! Perhaps I can help as well. I believe I can start to form the sidewalk if you would like to keep making the materials.
[hey small things, right?]
heeeee yes~
You should be like...backup Prime!
no subject
Oh, I would not dare to imagine myself as a Prime. [He looks about himself and moves to the nearest large-ish bit of broken building.] But if we need to rebuild this place, I can help you do this all day!
[Shove! He'll get that pile of rubble moved, oh yeah he will. Whatever used to be under his feet, it'll be a sidewalk now, for sure!]
no subject
Why not? YEAH, we can wreck stuff to fix it!
no subject
[He'll shove that bit of rubble aside and start on another to make a pile, probably for Grimlock to wreck later.]
Well, I will certainly help you to repurpose it, but I will leave the wrecking to you, since you are far larger and stronger.
no subject
That's right, I'll be the brawn and you'll be the uh...brain.
no subject
[He gets to work on another broken bit, moving them to the pile he's making. Too bad he can't get the bigger ones, but he'll let Grimlock take care of that for him.]
This walkway should go between places that others normally visit. It will be easier than navigating the wreckage, for a start.
no subject
[His mind is just focusing on what to wreck next. He takes some of the bigger pieces once he sees the minibot at work.]
Just show me where to go and I'll take care of it!
no subject
[He points down in a direction.]
What about there? That heads back to the bar. Do you think you can get the bigger pieces to line up there before you crush them?
no subject
I don't see why not! Leave it to me!
[Scooping up the bigger hunks and laying them across the ground towards the bar.]
Ok, that's good. You ready?
no subject
I am ready!
no subject
[Grimlock skids across the trailpath on his tail, crushing plenty of junk along the way before leaping and piledriving the bigger metal with his fists.]
no subject
Good job!
[They'll so have this done in no time, yep!]
no subject
You think so?
[So much praise today! He takes care of those rocks while he's at it.]
no subject
[Not when Grimlock is making this so stupid easy.]
no subject
[They built Rome in a day, didn't they?]
But hey, you're helpin' me!
