[There's a looong moment of silence between the transmission's start and Knock Out actually beginning to speak. And when he finally does, his voice is very even.]

Has... anyone seen Breakdown lately? Or heard from him, perhaps? Big blue and silver mech, grounder like me, prominent chassis... He has a striking red-orange face and a patch over one optic.

[And he's missing. KO doesn't like that. He also doesn't like that he woke up in the middle of nowhere outside of the Haven, alone, and missing time, but he's not exactly about to go sharing that publicly. In fact, he doesn't sound nearly as agitated as he actually is right now, because that's something else he's trying not to be public about.]

It's not that I expect him to attend me constantly, but usually I can at least raise him on my comm.

It could. Maybe yours could be too? Even if you were able to make a call on it, maybe it didn't go through like you thought it did?

[...Should she bring up Airachnid? Breakdown hadn't sounded exactly fond of her in his warning about that Cybertronian. But she didn't want to worry Knock Out, and really, Breakdown had warned about Airachnid--in such a way that it didn't make sense for him to go after her himself.]

He's probably fine, probably looking for you too...but do you want help searching for Breakdown?

My self-diagnostics are fine. If something was wrong with my comm, I'd know. [Forgive him if he sounds a little fussy, Korra-- he's not having a good day.]

[Which is why he almost snaps and says something rather cutting about 'if he was looking for me he'd be here already'. He reins it in, though, and manages instead a tight:] If you'd be so kind, I'd appreciate it.

The only thing I can think of is to return to where I saw him last and start there. It's not exactly easy terrain to search without a vantage, though.

One of them is scouting already. [One that claims to be a Starscream, and that's-- not so unbelievable, honestly. After all, hadn't Starscream gone after Breakdown the first time he'd gone missing on Earth?]

We were southwest of Solus' temple, on the far side of the gorge.

Mm, not really. Cybertronians encountered alien races long before I was sparked. It's common knowledge that many of them are smaller than us.

Oh, gotcha. [Beat.] Wonder if there are a lotta aliens beyond my world in its dimension....

[And the 'WHERE DO YOU GUYS COME FROM?' question is on her lips. But she feels awkward about it. The baby talk with her parents had been sorta weird, but at the time she mostly just liked being with them, even when they talked about odd stuff.]
