2nd Gear: Fear of Instinct [Video]
[Somewhere down in the organic-sized access tunnels beneath Solus Prime's temple and just off the main route is a large fur covered...something. Judging from how large the tunnel is, this creature is not that small in terms of organic life. It's curled up on the floor, head resting on a pair of big paws that sport long, sharp black claws. The head of the beast is crowned with bat-like ears, the mouth loaded with sharp fangs. Despite its fearsome appearance, however, it looks pretty dang miserable and possibly even tired, probably from lack of decent food.]
Hate this...
[The sound of its voice (or rather growls and whines being translated by the device), is deep and harsh.]
Anyone not a robot, be careful in access tunnels under Solus' temple. This body...it wants to hunt and kill.
Blood... I want blood so bad.
[The creature shudders and curls up a bit tighter, wolf-like tail covering its face.]
((OOC: Rex is a GR canon style chupacabra. In the GR universe, this animal comes equipped with claws that deliver a deadly toxin. Said toxin can kill an average human within hours if an anti-toxin is not administered. Rex knows this via unfortunate personal experience and aside from his instinctual want to kill and eat things, it's the other reason he's trying to stay away from everyone. If there's a case in which the toxin could come into play, I'll be sure to get permission before it's used!))

Chupacabra. Creature of legend from Earth that drinks cattle blood...
[What the hell is that word. He scowls.]
Chupathingy. Right.
And I'm gonna guess and say this ain't a good thing.
Video] BEST. TAG. EVER.
It's a combination of two words in Spanish, the language of my people.
And no, not really... This body's got a lot of strong instincts. The two worst ones have me feeling territorial and wanting blood. I'm down in the tunnels because I might lose control if I see any humans or other animals. Hoping no one comes down this way anytime soon.
[Even though his human side is feeling downright lonely as a result. He's been away from good company for far too long, as is.]
[Video] /bows
[Whether he's commenting on the word, or the information is anyone's guess. He's scowling, however, heavy brow furrowed as best it can be.]
Need a leash or somethin' maybe. This can't keep up forever, right?
Wanting to kill everything's kinda the big problem here. There a lot of organics over in your area or...?
[Well, for sake of the "not killing anyone" thing, anyway. Being the social creature that he is, the lack of contact and face-to-face interaction really sucks.]
[Probably a stupid idea, but, given he took on the Swarm and lived, one organic monster won't do much.]
Um, sure. Okay.
[Somehow, Rex manages to transmit his coordinates, though it does take longer than it usually does. Have to be careful using those long claws on a Link device.]
We'll see about this "sitting alone in the dark" scrap.
[As Ironhide makes his way down, Rex slips out of the smaller tunnel and back into the nearest Cybertronian sized one, realizing the big bot won't be able to see and reach him, otherwise.]
action!
[Those heavy footsteps probably give him away though.]
Anyone down here?
[Action Forever]
[His size relative to Ironhide is comparable to that of a large cat to a human; he's not a small predator by human standards.]
no subject
[The big soldier crouches down, elbows on his knees.]
'Least you grew a little. For an organic, y'know?
[Ironhide, that's not comforting.]
no subject
[Getting up on his hind legs, Rex manages to place his front paws on Ironhide's right leg, right below the knee joint. Behind him, his tail wags back and forth; he is definitely happy to have company come calling. Unfortunately, the only sounds he can make are the ones common to his species.]
no subject
[That's. Sort of cute. In a giant, fanged, monstrosity kind of way. Though it's a little weird, knowing this is actually a kid, and not some kind of animal that's taken a liking to him.]
You want a head pat or something?
[He doesn't shove him off though. Or pull his knee back. He came down here to keep the kid company. What good would shoving him off do?]
