[Ok. Shepard's day wasn't going well. Day? Night? Whatever time it was. Waking up with a thing that looked like the human reaper wasn't the best way to start things. Shooting it in the face seemed like a good idea, though. Or... maybe not. Well, she was dead, so what was the issue? This place was obviously a hell specially cultivated for her. Planet made of metal? Metal humanoid things standing over her bed when she awoke? Yes. It would sound like hell if she believed in it, and if Ashley were here, Shepard might owe her an apology for not believing in that afterlife stuff.]
This is Commander Shepard of the Alliance. Can anyone read me?
[She'd already come in contact with Mordin and was currently trying to make it to his location without being seen by anyone else (stealth wasn't her thing and she sort of wished Kasumi were here right now.) It didn't surprise her that Mordin would be in hell, all things considered. Of course she had wished that all of her teammates would end up in a nicer place if there was one, but still no shocker. And of course his presence confirmed her suspicion that she was dead. Not that there was any question. The Catalyst had told her there was 0% chance of survival. But for the Geth and EDI... It was worth it, wasn't it? She'd never know.]
Location unknown. Hostiles all around. I'm undetected for the moment, but I could sure use a hand or a friendly face right about now.
[She'd keep the feed open in case anyone else responded, but she still had to find Mordin.]

Commander Shephard, this is White Knight of Providence.
[A bold-faced lie these days, but it sounded more trustworthy than "White Knight of a splinter defect group."]
You're in the same boat as the rest of us. Location's about as unknown as it's going to get. Can you describe your surroundings?
I read you, White Knight. I just fled a large building clearly made for much larger synthetic beings. The one that had me under its watch said something about "Prima" before I took off. I'm headed to what looks like a fairly large pile of rubble right now in search of one of my crew.
[It was a lot of information to give an unknown, but she had two guns on her if anything went south.]
[Video] and I will spell Shepard right from now on too
Synthetic beings. Interesting choice of words.
Just leaving Prima's temple, then, and headed for the Junk Pile. If your crew is here, you'll find them; The Haven is small.
[He found his team -- well, Six, anyway -- not even an hour after he'd left the temple. He didn't volunteer that information just yet; If she turned out to be untrustworthy, best he didn't have all his cards laid out on the table.]
[Still, Shepard was clearly a soldier of some sort. It was too early to judge her skill or sensibility -- rank only held so much meaning -- but if she had a good head on her shoulders, she could be a valuable ally. At this point, it was probably best to establish shallow, superficial trust -- something akin to a work acquaintance -- based on superficial details. Like their shared humanity... or their shared "patron" firstforged.]
If you woke in Prima's temple, you may want to head back there at some point and let them finish the welcome speech, though it's not information you can't get anywhere else.
There's also living space set aside in the temple for you, though I can't say I put much faith in their competence when caring for humans. I suggest you find a place to stay. From the sounds of it, none of us will be leaving this planet any time soon.
[He sounds none too happy about that.]
[Video] I do it too, no worries.
I'm not sure if I'm welcome there anymore, but I'll see what happens. It seems more suited to the robots than to us. Everything so far has been... Oversized. [Definitely built for the robots, not the organics.]
I'd rather not get too comfortable. I'm sure there's a way off this planet.

[Knight taps his upper arm lightly; The armor makes a small plink sound.]
Everyone here's been branded with the mark of one of the higher ups. Firstforged, they're called. Apparently, they think claiming and branding us like cattle is a good way to garner trust and loyalty.
[The sarcasm, can you hear it?]
Since you woke in Prima's temple, your mark should match his. Mine too, supposedly.
[Really, why did this always happen when she died? First the Illusive Man, now this Prima synthetic?]
It didn't end well for the last guy. We'll figure this out. We're soldiers, if your armor is any indication. We follow orders, but we also fight for ourselves and the less fortunate. We're a force to be reckoned with, not livestock to be herded around and traded like resources.
