[Log] You Never Had the Head For All That Bigger Picture Stuff
Who: Colette Brunel, Genis Sage, Lloyd Irving, Martel Yggdrasil, Raine Sage, Sheena Fujibayashi, Yuan Ka-Fai, Zelos Wilder AND YOU
What: Joint Nightmare since for some reason they all share the same fear of zombie angels and crazy godmod teenagers
When: This Weekend
Where: Dream Land
Rating: PG-13 to R
[When arriving in this dream, you'll find yourself in various parts of Paradisa whether it be the castle or the grounds. And boy, do things sure look different. The town is nothing more but rubble, with the farmlands surrounding it razed and salted. There is no sign of any towns person still being alive. The castle still stands, but it seems to lack the life it once had.]
[As for the residents? Well, they got a worst fate than the townspeople. If you come across most residents, there's a good amount of changes. First noticeable thing is they now have wings (some like fairies while most have typical white bird angel wings). They all seem to have a red crystal embedded on them. But worst of all? They are completely devoid of any personality or free thought. Their eyes seem dead and they only seem to respond to the wishes of the one who caused this]
[If you're lucky, you might come across someone who hasn't succumb to this fate - they seem to have taken to hiding in the forest or the mountains. If not? Well...good luck.]
[OOC:TLDR TIME YAY! A joint dream where essentially Mithos Yggdrasil showed up in paradisa and took things over! Pretty much meaning he destroyed the town and turned every resident into zombie-angels. The Symphonian cast (including Mithos cough) will be all over this, but anyone is free to participate in this dream too! If you wish to do so, we got a number of options if you want to more!
OPTION A - Returning Resident/ just wandered into this room.
You just wandered into this or have no idea what's going on. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION B - Survivor.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. You were among one of the few lucky ones who escaped, who are currently in hiding and either want to find a way to take down Mithos- or find a way out into the Dead Zone where his hand has not reached yet. Maybe you're hiding in the rubble of the city, or the mountains or the forest. Try not to get killed by angels.
OPTION C - Former Angel.
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, razing the town and claiming himself god. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You remember how you were forced to kill all the townspeople, help in turning fellow residents into mindless drones like you. But you got lucky in the way that someone saved you, put a keycrest (fancy piece of metal) on your crystal so you regained your mind. You're still an angel- you still don't eat, sleep and maybe even your sense of touch is diminished or gone- but at least you have a mind and soul again. Plus the enhanced senses, strength and reflexes are really nice too. Try not to get caught again.
OPTION D - Angel
You remember this and don't know it's just a dream. You remember when Mithos Yggdrasil started turning residents into angels, when he razed the town, when he claimed himself God of a now lifeless land. But you were unlucky, and were among the residents who got turned into the mindless drones. You have enhanced senses, strength, reflexes and wings. On the flipside, you don't eat, sleep, feel and talking is optional too (since many angels have no voices). You feel nothing. All you desire to do is follow Mithos and his great plan. Have fun.

[Maybe that would've been alright, it's kinda easy when you don't have emotions or free will. But then some well meaning intentioned douchebag just had to give him his keycrest back. Made him in control of his own full emotions, made him fully remember that he helped capture his friends and bring them to ruin. That he helped killed all those villagers. That he pretty much did everything opposite of what he wanted to do thanks to Mithos.]
[These days, you can find him out deep in the forest. He keeps to himself mostly- not too many people want to be associated with the guy that helped bring Paradisa down. He can't blame them, he doesn't want to associate with himself either. Part of him wonders why he hasn't fled to the Dead Zone, but in truth it's because of that small stupid spark of hope that maybe, maybe- he'd find some way to save his friends and make up for what he did even if the rest of him has completely given up hope. ]
[Oh and his beautiful long hair he was so proud of? Totally cut short and unevenly. This is a nightmare after all ]

And he sees Zelos, sitting, maybe thirteen, fourteen feet away from Tsuna. He completely forgets himself and intakes a sharp breath with a small, horrified noise, and his face goes pale as he lets go of the shrubbery, plastering himself to a tree trunk. He clutches the fabric where his heart is and shakes, trying desperately to calm himself. He's praying, somehow, that the supposed angel did not hear him, and that his heart, beating quicker now, did not give him away.
He didn't dare move an inch, and listened for the other's movements.]
no subject
[But the heartbeat...it was too uneven. The breathing too. It was no angel]
I can hear you, you know.
no subject
He can hear him.
Zelos-- no, the angel-- can hear him.
He wants to run, but his legs won't let him. His throat feels thick, constricted, and his eyes are warming. He wants to run and hide so badly, but he knows he's dead either way; he couldn't hope to outrun an angel.
Should he stay where he was? Go into the open and get it over with?
He'd met a former angel before. One given a crest. They said even though they couldn't control their bodies at all, they had been fully aware of what was going on.
At the very least, before he died, maybe he could offer Zelos an apology. That he wasn't able to save him-- to keep Mithos from turnign him into an angel.
A hot tear spills from his eye, sinks into a cut on his cheek that Zelos had given him before, which he recently turned into an angel. He'd nearly died, that time, but it seemed it only prolonged his life for so long.
He reaches up with an arm, brushing it roughly across his eyes, and takes a deep breath, parting the bushes. It's hard, but he forces his head up, to look Zelos in the eyes, even if his own are rife with fear.]

He isn't expecting to catch a flash of short-cropped red hair from the corner of his eye as he goes, and for a moment he whirls to face the sudden threat - then relaxes, relieved, when he sees who it is.]
...Wilder. I see they haven't recaptured you yet.

[But when he sees who it is? Well, color him surprised. Honestly, he hadn't seen Yuan since regaining himself. He definitely heard rumors- that he had become a resistor. In a strange twisted way, it was comforting to hear that. Some things never change. Yuan was one of them. And looks like even with hell itself against him, the guy was still kicking]
Yuan.
[He gives a light shrug]
And I see you're still alive.

[ A day after returning to herself finds Arya searching the woods. Her annoyance has been steadily increasing with every step and she actively feeds it. In her head, she has had a thousand and one arguments, each more satisfying (read: louder) than the last. She has won every one.
By the time she finds her target (courtesy of a raven she had quickly let free), she is geared up for a fight. When she can finally see him with her own eyes, she freezes.
Like last time, her wings are out, glimmering a soft silver behind her. Unlike last time, her hair is cropped short and uneven. The dress that had made her look so like a porcelain doll is gone. In its place, she wears a boy's grey shirt; a white scarf winds around her neck, the ends tucked into the shirt in front. The pant legs had been rolled up to avoid tripping. She goes barefoot.
Although expressionless, she holds his gaze this time. Around her left wrist is a bracelet with a keycrest. ]

[But per usual he brought out his golden wings. Prepared to ward off angels or humans if necessary. He adopts that blank mask of a face, even if he wondered how much longer even that would work. ]
[Yet when he sees her come into view, the mask fails to hide his look of surprise. He had seen her as an angel, but now she looked...so different. Like herself, not a doll]
[He knows it could be a trick. Some trap that Mithos laid out. But maybe-]

Survivor
Of course, he didn't particularly hate Zelos for what he did. That would have been horrifically hypocritical of him, after all. But the despondency the other man carried around with him was worrying, and so every time he returned to the forest, the Once-ler made it a point to seek out Zelos. Just to speak to him, let him know he wasn't completely forgotten and hated.
When he eventually finds him, the Once-ler moves to lean on a tree, lighting up a cigar]
Not made a break for it yet, then.
no subject
[Yet even with how perceptive Zelos is, people always managed to surprise him. ]
[He hears him approach, of course, and while he was getting ready to defend himself or hide- he relaxed when he recognized who it was. And of course, he'll greet him snarkily]
I dunno....I might if you keep smoking those things around me.
no subject
Still, he smirks around his cigar. He misses Zelos when he's out in the wasteland, even if he won't really admit such a thing]

She knows he prefers to keep to himself, but she'll still come to see him from time to time. Just so he knows that he's still wanted by someone]
Zelos? [She keeps her voice low -- it's more like a barely audible whisper to most people, but she knows he'll be able to hear her]
no subject
Yeah you can't resist a guy with angst anyway I KNOW THE TRUTH ahem I mean][He was tense when he heard someone approach, bringing out his wings in case it was someone to worry about. She definitely moved so quietly that it was a cause for worry]
[But he does hear that whisper. Relaxing some:]
Yo Ino.

Unfortunately, he'd also lost his chance to get close to Yggdrasil and take him out when he could. John's not about to leave Paradisa and leave his friends like this, but it's hard trying to live in hiding while most of the residents are flying around like soulless killing machines.
Right now John's drifting through the forest, usually finding it better to fly around than to walk and give away his position with footsteps. Though unfortunately his wind probably kicks up some mess too. He's always on the look out, hoping that if Paradisa sends in any newcomers he can grab them and whisk them off to safety before the "angels" get to them. ]

That second part isn't actually good news for John yet, it's just the way it happens to be. It's amazing he's lasted so long with how unobservant he can be at times. ]
