[For those on the ship, the afternoon's calm is broken by the sudden wail of alarms, and the blooming glow of amber warning lights set in the ship's floor panels.

For those off the ship, the light display is absent, but the alarms still wail from the ship-linked communicators.

The ungodly racket is accompanied by a dispassionate feminine voice - those few who saw her before the crash might recognize the voice of Salvation's AI, though the message itself is recorded.]

Hostiles detected in corridor 83-alpha. Containment initiated. Dispatching security.

[Well, if you can hear anything Kerra has to say then you have some kind of super-hearing to be able to drown out the alarms. Which is probably just as well because it's pretty much just a string of expletives in Basic, Huttese, and Sullustan.

And after a minute she figures out that nobody can hear her so she swaps over to text. And if text could look sheepish, this definitely would.]

So uh oops?  The alarms are sorta my fault.  Well, this guy Vegeta and mine.  Can someone shut the kriffing things off and let us out?

This guy punched through a couple of doors.

[There's a brief pause before another text comes in.]

Scratch that. Just switch to video and pan the camera to show in as much of the area you're stuck in as possible.

[She turns on the video and sweeps it slowly around the area. She'll pause on the door if there are any markings. If not, well...]

[It's a couple minutes before Tony replies - though the ship started off relatively well-signed, the damage from the crash and the subsequent grafiti's done a number on most labels.]

[He's on the ship, too, and he's yelling, because those alarms are everywhere, after all. If not quite as loud where he's at compared to Kerra.

He's also crawling along a wall, and paused to answer her text while still clinging to it. Her view of him may be a little weird, since she'll be seeing the wall as the floor and floor as a wall.]

[That IS weird. What the hell!]

Corridor 83-Alpha. Or...something. Y'know, where all the alarms are loudest.

[Todd reads that, tilts his head, and squints his eyes at the screen in annoyance.]

Well, duh. The ship's yellin' that pretty loud! But I don't got any idea where that is.

[Maybe he should just do like Tony said and get out of there.]

[Todd makes a face at the camera, but he subjects her to his terrible typing anyway.]

Only if this guy decides to try and blast through the forcefields again.

Yeah, try to discourage him from doing that again. If the dispatched security shows up and it's a problem, try to get further communication out. I'm 15 minutes away from the ship, but I'll head in that direction in case the muscle at hand isn't enough.

Confirmed. FNG decided the way to open a sealed door was to punch a hole in it. Somehow is surprised when a spaceship doesn't like that.

Must not be used to AI. Need back-up? Or are we just pointing and laughing?
