[He grins, but his mouth is still wide open.]

Dude! Seriously? Where did you even get this from?!

[Finnick hasn't seen a surfboard in a longass time. Must be from the crystal? But Dolph doesn't even swim?]

[ not exactly something you can purchase after all. ]

[He grabs the board gently with one hand, looks closer at it.]

[Now THAT would be fun. And it strikes Finnick as even more sweet that Dolph did this for him despite not being able to partake in the activity with him.]

[He takes the board in hand, looking it over again. He can't get over it. He's not even sure what to say now... Which is rare.]

[ his brow furrows, feeling his way through his words. ]

[ he nods. that is what he meant. he knew finnick would like it. he made sure to leave it bare because finnick would want to design it. make it his own. and finnick would find someone to surf with because he likes company.
