First Gate [Video/Action]

[Video]

[The video feed suddenly kicks in with the sound of rushing winds and the sight of a blue sky. And soon, falling into view is bushy-browed teenager with a bowlcut, confusion and panic written all over his face.

Upon arrival, Rock Lee and his book open have begun freefalling through the sky to towards the village. Lee keeps his eyes focused on the open book and pushes himself through the air to get a closer look. Just enough to tell that it's some kind of communication device... and that it seems to be recording his face, and his movements.

Can they hear him, too? A million thoughts rush through his head. What happened? Where did everyone go? Why am I floating through the sky? Somebody help me down! But... if people could see him, he wouldn't want to look weak, would he? He's Rock Lee, after all. The Green Beast of Konoha. He can figure out a way out of this.

What would Gai Sensei do?

So he opts to force on a smile, one full of shining teeth, and he flashes a thumbs up towards the camera and shouts as loud as he can.]

DYNAMIC... ENTRY!

[Lee can find his way down. After all, his training weights are gone. He feels so light.]

[Action]

[If anyone misses out on the high-paced action, they can find Lee after he lands - either traveling to the item shop for his headband, weights and equipment or to the clothing shop for his valued green jumpsuit and vest. He'll also jog around to survey the village and some of the forest afterwards, eager to greet his new neighbors in the process.]

[That bowl cut. The teeth shining bright. The yell of YOUTH.]

BUSHY BROWS! [Just as loud, if not louder.]

[A bright smile crosses Lee's face for different reasons; the last he knew, Naruto and Killer Bee were fighting Madara alongside Gai and Kakashi. He matches the intensity of his shout.]

NARUTO-KUN!

[The last thing he remembers was nowhere near as badass, but the intensity of the shouting continues just because Naruto is like that. And even if Lee creeps him out sometimes, Lee is still a fellow shinobi. And a damn hot-blooded one. Hot-blooded 4 lyfe.]

BUSHY BROWS!

[He pauses a moment to watch a passing bird.]

NARUTO-KUN!

[Oh. He thought Lee was done. Better keep it up.]

BUSHY BROWS, WHERE ARE YOU!?

Ah! I HAVE NO IDEA HOW, NARUTO-KUN, BUT I AM IN THE SKY! WHAT ABOUT YOU? DID YOU CONQUER MADARA, OR ESCAPE?

--WAIT, WHAT'S THAT ABOUT MADARA!?

I HAVE NO IDEA! ONE MOMENT, I WAS WITH THE ARMY, AND WE WERE ALL ADVANCING TO HELP YOU FIGHT AGAINST MADARA WITH KILLER BEE-SAN AND GAI SENSEI AND KAKASHI SENSEI! NOW I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AIR WITH A BOOK THAT HAS SOME ADVANCED COMMUNICATION JUTSU, AND I CANNOT FEEL MY CLOTHES!

[Okay, let's tackle the part that sounds like the easiest first.]

GEH-- OF COURSE YOU CAN'T, YOU'RE HALF NAKED!

[To make sure, he takes a moment to rub his chest.]

AH! NO! WHERE HAVE MY CLOTHES GONE? I FEEL SO EXPOSED!

WHA-- YOU JUST NOTICED THAT!?

YES! IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION, THE STATE OF MY DRESS IS THE LEAST OF MY CONCERNS!

BUT YOU'RE WEARIN' SOMETHIN' COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN USUAL! HOW'D YOU NOT NOTICE!?

BECAUSE I AM FALLING FROM THE SKY, NARUTO-KUN!

[Oh yeah. He mentioned that.]

[This is confusing. It's confusing to Lee for obvious reasons, but it was confusing to Naruto for all the wrong reasons.]

WHY DON'T YA JUST LAND ALREADY?

BECAUSE I AM STILL FALLING! I AM SEEKING A PLACE TO LAND!

[Pause.]

NARUTO-KUN! I THINK I HAVE AN EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE IDEA!

[Oh dear.]

WELL? WHAT ARE YA WAITIN' FOR, LAY IT ON ME!

[He reaches out for the book, grabs it and holds it down facing the ground. Lee then slowly pans the open journal over the village.]

FIRST, LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU SEE WHERE YOU ARE, NARUTO-KUN!

[Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.]

RIGHT THERE, RIGHT THERE! THIRD BUILDIN' ON THE RIGHT! I'M ON THE ROOF!

[He looks in the direction that the book is pointing and spots the building. But before he maneuvers himself there...]

GREAT! AND, NARUTO-KUN... YOUR SHADOW CLONES ARE EXPENDABLE, CORRECT?

[Naruto starts off a little quieter than he's been going this whole time, mostly trying to put his thoughts into words.]

I dunno if they'd go around sayin' that but, uh... YEAH! YOU WANT ME TO PULL SOME AWESOME STUFF WITH 'EM!?

PRECISELY, NARUTO-KUN! THIS IS THE PLAN! I WANT YOU TO SEND AS MANY SHADOW CLONES IN MY DIRECTION AS YOU CAN - AS HIGH AS YOU CAN GET THEM, BUT SPREAD THEM OUT! THEY CAN HELP ME REACH YOUR LOCATION! IN THE MEANTIME... I SHALL OPEN A GATE!

GOTCHA! LIKE A NET!

[He's definitely got this. One handseal later, and there's a ton of shadow clones on the roof. What was a normal roof was now covered in orange and black, and the shadow clones were tossing themselves up in the air in different directions.]
