Summary: Chiaki builds a ridiculous looking giant robot
[Chiaki's been relatively scarce and even quieter than usual since Hajime fell into crystal stasis, spending a good deal of her time sequestered away in her room playing games. There's still a lot she doesn't understand about human emotions even after spending over a year as one, and losing her new boyfriend before getting to explore them hasn't helped. Fortunately, the distraction she needed to really refocus her efforts and get her working toward a goal again arrived in the unlikeliest of fashions when Jack Harkness came back from Nabila with a Magitek Armor in tow. Having no need of it himself, he'd passed it along to the young gamer girl, trusting she'd find a use for it.
And find a use for it she did.
With both Magitek Knight and Engineer maxed, Chiaki now had access to the Mecha Pilot Advanced Job. She'd nearly taken a 5 million gil loan out from the McDuck Bank in an effort to get a giant robot of her own, but Jack had saved her the effort. And for the past week, she's been spending nearly all her free time holed up in one of the airship hangars working on a brand new project. Giant robots are cool to begin with, but with the ability to freely customize the look, of course Chiaki is planning to tinker around a bit. There's a lot of work to be done still, but the overall design of the mech is starting to take shape.]
Hmm... I wonder what I should name it. Giant Usami? Usatron?

He was, then, a little surprised to find out that she was at the airship hanger instead of at home like she had been. He's even more surprised when he arrives there and finds what she's working on.</small.] Is that...a giant rabbit?

It's still got a long way to go before it'll be ready for combat, but it's coming along.

[Cloud continues to look the robot over. He knows that a few Heroes have gotten on the giant robot bandwagon lately thanks to their advanced jobs. He simply hopes to get a magitek armor of his own one day instead of the accidents that keep preventing him from getting one.
There IS one pressing question though.]

[Tifa hasn't been going long, but Zack has been crystalized for most of the time Cloud's been here. He frowns briefly but pushes his concern aside. He has faith this group of Heroes can save this world, and all the people who have been pulled here besides.]
