Summary: Party time~!
Warnings: Minako should be a warning.

[Minako send Artemis out to gather those who said they would help as she started to look at her list. She still had a few things she needed to do before the party could begin, but first all she could do was wait for others.

When the party was starting Minako was going to go about and do her own thing until the time was right.]

[The Barkeep keeps to his promise and shows up at the doorstep carrying a platter of seasoned meat and vegetables while balancing a cake on top. He gets Annie to knock on the door for him while his hands are full, and when the food is safe on a table, he stands in the middle of the living room with his hands on his hips, looking disapprovingly of the setup. The chairs could be aligned more neatly, and the furniture arrangement could be optimized further. It looks like it's up to him to make this a decent party.

And for the next half hour, the Barkeep is seen dragging tables, couches, chairs, and anything he can lift across the floor and around anyone standing in the way.]

Comin' through.

[Minako had thought that her arrangement was decent enough so when she had caught Barkeep moving it about, she just had to ask.]

You don't need to move it you know.

[He lets go of the table and rests his arms. Lugging tables around is hard work!]

I'm organizin' this place so you got more room to fit people in.

I moved them before for that reason. The table was meant to be by the wall so we could put food on it.

[Now she really thinks about it, did she move it there or had she just placed it somewhere else?]

I'm leavin' it over by that wall instead. [He tilts his head briefly in the general direction of the wall Minako is blocking.] More space around it for folks to stand around and grab somethin' to eat without blocking the hallway.

Was it near the hallway before?

[She hadn't paid all that much attention when she moved things. So she didn't know.]

But you seem to know better than I do, so... [She moves out of the way.]

Setting up

[She's just doing whatever she's been asked to do. Moving some furniture to make room, assisting in the kitchen with those who want to cook. It's a lot of running around and doing this and that. After awhile she finds the task of setting chairs out around the main room. She is going to put some outside too but she can't make up her mind where they should go.

Yuna can be found moving the same chair several times, sitting in it and then standing as if it might be wrong some how. It probably looks silly from anyone watching.]

Sticking around

[Once the party starts she finds a chair to sit in and relaxes. She's a little tired but she's happy to see so many people showing up. She smiles at everyone and after awhile she'll go relax outside with a drink. She isn't planning to drink a lot but one doesn't hurt.]

Thanks you helping, I really needed it.

[This was actually Minako's first party that she planned all by herself, so she knew she would have made a good few mistakes. Helped that she didn't have work at the moment.]

I might need some helping moving something if that is okay?

[Yuna looks up with a wide smile.]

Yeah, what is it?

[She is very excited. She likes parties and she misses singing with Rikku.]

It's just a couple of tables and they are way to heavy for just me to move.

[She points them out as they were currently sitting in the middle of the room.]

I need to move them toward the wall, so it's not far at least.

[Yuna nods.]

Got it! Want to grab the other end?

[She moves in place on the fair side of the table and then waits for Minako to join her. Yuna can probably move the tables alone but they are very bulky. It's just easier with someone else.]

[Minako was already moving toward the table, picking up one end of the table and waited for Yuna to grab the other.]

Okay, on three he will lift it. Got it?

[She gets ready, making sure she used her legs instead of her back.]

One. Two. Three. [And she started to lift.]

[Like a few others, Cloud shows up a bit early and helps to set up where he can. His early arrival is actually an accident, Mako having told him the party was an hour earlier than it really was to make sure his Hero would make time for it. The moogle likes seeing Cloud working so hard to help out the City and at the Ranch but he needs to spend time with the other Heroes too.

Cloud grunts as he sets down a few bottles of different drinks on a table, carefully stepping back to make sure he doesn't knock them over.]

That's that. Anything else you need me to do?

I think... That is it.

[Minako stood behind him, arms crossed over her chest and during the time he had been helping, she had used that time to get changed for the party.]

As far as I am aware I don't have anything else on my list.

[Cloud nods and winds one arm while rubbing the shoulder with his free hand, loosening up after carrying such a heavy load.]

That's good. It's a lot of drinks but everyone should enjoy them.

[He turns around to face Minako properly.]

Mako said that you're doing this for the new Heroes? That's really nice of you.

Better to be over prepared than under and need to rush to get more.

[She started to stretch herself for the brief moment, raising her arm above her head and using the other around it.]

Yeah, that and I thought it would be nice for us as well with what happened and all. Least I could do really.

Yeah. I feel a little bad for the new Heroes showing up while we're all trying to figure out what we're doing. Then again I guess it's better than showing up right before a big invasion or waking up in a prison.

[Cloud scratches his cheek in embarrassment as that little bit of thought quickly gets away from him.]

So at least we have time to get to know the newcomers this time. Come to think of it I don't think we've really spoken to each other much either...I think. [Everything has been so hectic he really can't remember.]

People actually woke up in prison? Those poor new arrivals, that must have been horrible.

[She never did since she came a couple of months after that. But she ws still very much surprised to say the least.]

I don't know. I mean I want to try more to talk to everyone, but there are so many heroes it's hard to keep track, don't you think?

[ As promised, Sheena brings along a few supplies--namely in the food and drink category. Although right behind her is Corrine carrying a sack full of napkins that they may be able to use.

Sheena may not really know Minako yet, but she's been to a few parties, so she knows they can get messy--no matter how hard one tries to prevent it. Finding a space on the table for her goodies, she relieves Corrine of his baggage and goes to find the hostess to hand her the napkins. ]

I know I never offered to bring these, but I thought they might help. Is there anything else I can do?

[Minako was more than happy to take the napkins, going to place them by some near by plates and forks. Best place for them in her mind.]

Thanks, they will actually be useful for those who make a mess while eating. For anything else... I think there isn't much left to do.

[She glanced around, seeing if there was anything else, but it didn't seem there was much else left to do.]

I think that's all, again thank you. I will do something to thank you later when it's over.

[ Sheena hadn't even seen them there. Otherwise, she would have placed the napkins and just gone to talk to Minako. ]

[ She followed her gaze, smiling when Minako turned back to her. ]

Oh! So you've had parties before? So that would make you a expert.

[Considering this was something new for her to arrange before she had no idea how to do it, she was taking a good guess, but so far she seems to be getting it right.]

A couple. [ Usually small ones, but she's been to a few and has seen what happens there. ]

Haven't you ever had a party before?

I've never thrown one before, no.

[She probably has been to a few but nothing overly amazing like this hopes this one might.]
