Summary: After an unfortunate tussle with a Chaos God, work on a farm, a swarm of refugees and stress piled upon stress, sometimes all anyone wants is to sit back and watch classic movies.
Rating: PG for possible adult language
Something that everyone could agree on was this: the past three weeks had been several shades of stressful. What they needed, what they all needed was something mindless and relaxing shared in the company of those they care for in a neutral environment. The beach works well enough, and it's not that far a trip for anyone involved.

The beach was quiet, the crowd was still sparse, and Lupin was unoccupied after Fujiko stole the blankets that he was setting out for any passers by. He needed something to do, and Adele was the perfect target for him to test out a little trick.
He slipped behind a table that was just out of her line of sight and hunkered down. Eyes closed, he slowed his breathing--and the racing thoughts in his mind.
And listen.
The whisper of the wind and the hushed song of the waves rolling on shore guided him into a relaxed rhythm, and he drew on the scraps of lessons he had learned from Luke, Helios, and Law. Each one was different...but they all helped him make sense of what he was doing.
He reached a hand out--and the air around it slowed and stilled. It was just like when Daisy stifled the flames in his apartment, he realized. It was just like the few times he had watched the Spartan work.
