[ seimei had a bad month. he’s been having several bad months since he got here, actually, and he’s starting to think it’s some kind of karmic punishment for all the evil he’s committed over the course of his life. instead of trying to rectify this with good deeds, however, he’s pretending as if nothing has gone wrong for him even once.

as far as he’s concerned within his social circle, the person most equipped to distract him is, unfortunately for everyone, lorenz. ]

How is your bank account, Lorenz? I want to do something fun.

[Lorenz... has had an ordinary month, all things considered, a little sad when his best girls went home suddenly but otherwise quite fine! To that end, his first response is simply:]

Of course, because Lorenz is the way he is, he cannot help but wonder if Seimei is asking for free money because he's a brat or because he's utterly destitute, which would be worrying!! So, smartly:]

[ seimei has already given himself away with lorenz as being an unusual brat with no social graces, so he’s not worried about making any particular impression one way or the other. ]

I was trying to find somewhere that could serve as a nice distraction, and the ratings were quite high when I searched “Entertainment Near Me.”

[ it is possible they will not even be let in since neither of them are under twelve and have no child to work as their excuse, but if push comes to shove, seimei will just say he’s picking up his little brother… he’s not above it. ]

[ seimei noticed that he changed the subject, but he’ll accept it since there was no sincerity in calling the mascot cute. it is horrifying. ]

[Lorenz takes a moment to stare meaningfully towards The Games, and reflect on his life and choices and how he seriously does not know how to work any of those, he can tell from here.

He sighs, but only a little, as he has accepted his role as The Adult.]
