[ Naoki rarely had to do any insisting when it came to training, not when Yang tended to invite herself along anyway-- that had been the first indication that something was up. And then not wanting to go all out? Suspicious point #2.
Now, rubbing at a sore spot on her jaw, she blinks at him. ]
[Naoki raises his eyebrows at her, rocking himself to his feet. He gets to stretching, arms arched up over his head before he hooks one of them around the other to pull it.]
Acting weird... is that what you call it when I'm like "nah let's not beat the crap out of each other today"?
[There's really no light sparring with the both of them usually, is there...]
[Welp. Naoki clears his throat lightly (embarrassed by his obviousness even though he was trying not to be obvious) as he swings down his arms from their stretch and takes a few light, bouncy steps in her direction.]
I'll follow your lead. [ Which is really all she can do, because this is his surprise, and she actually has no idea which cardinal direction he's gunning for. But of course she has to say it like she's totally in the know, lightly bumping against him as she gives their linked arms a pat. ]
[Naoki laughs at the way she says it and he tugs at her playfully before getting to walking. OFF THEY GO. They might be heading to the entertainment district. They maaaaaay be going to a movie theater playing horrible rip-offs and Naoki is considering each very much rip-off poster with the utmost seriousness.
[Grinning, he'll guide her on into the theater after he's bought tickets for this very dubious-looking movie. It looks like Terminator. But. It's probably going to end up being some weird version of RoboCop that involves some otherworldly romance.
[ ... SHE IS ONLY DOING THIS BECAUSE SHE LOVES YOU and that is why he will have to put up with her groaning loudly into his shoulder for most of this monstrosity. ]
