fellpool | +19+ Moving day [action/accidental voice]

[Backdated to February 3.

The sky is relatively clear, but the incoming clouds, thick and bright against sky, hint at snowy weather around the corner. It's with that in mind that Leon (

fellpool), Precis (

rocketpunch), and Claude (

mirrorblade) move their belongings from community building 1 to their new house, house 59.

Yep, that's right -- a trek from one side of the village to the other. There will be return trips, breaks, and maybe some unpacking going on today, so there's no shortage of places to see the trio today.

It's while Leon is rolling his teleportaton barrel that his journal falls out of his bag. He doesn't hear it over the sounds of the wood against the ground, but he is able to hear his pet cat meow in complaint behind him.]

What is it, Filia? [The journal may catch the sound of the cat meowing and Leon's footsteps as he walks back.] Man, it fell out again...? I should've just thrown it in one of the suitcases. C'mon, let's go -- this barrel isn't gonna move itself.

[Even with his brain as slow as it is, Don eventually realizes that the same three strangers have been walking past his window all day, going in and out of the house opposite his own. After thinking about this a while longer, he pries himself off the couch and opens said window to hail one (or more) of the three.]

Hi. Are you moving in?

[Claude's carrying over a box full of things when Don calls out to them. He looks over, offering him a smile.]

Uh... Yeah! Hold on. [He should put that box down first... He sets it just inside the front door before making his way over to the window.] Hi. I guess we're your new neighbors.

[Approach, neighbor, but get too close to the house and you'll find yourself bouncing off an invisible barrier.]

Guess so. I'm Don. ... It's really cold out here.

It's nice to meet you, Don. I'm Claude. [He turns, gesturing to the cat-eared boy and ponytailed girl who are also working near the house.] And these are my friends, Leon and Precis. We thought we should probably get moving before it got too cold outside.

[In the distance, Leon turns to look over towards the house (it probably has something to do with that enhanced hearing of his). Even with a box in his arms, he adjusts his grip so he can wave at their neighbor across the street.]

[Don waves back - and as he puts his hand down, the kitten of the household, Carbon, hops up on the windowsill and curls herself around his forearms.]

You're moving from another house? You've been in Luceti a while?

Kind of, yeah. Leon's been here longer than me, but Precis just got here. We were staying in the apartments before, but between the three of us, that's probably not going to be enough room anymore.
