[ Monika is sitting placidly behind her piano, smiling like she has no cares in the world. However, something's...off.
Her ponytail is slightly askew, the bow drooping on one side, and her clothes aren't as clean and kempt as usual. But it's probably what's going on in the background that's more interesting.
As in her room is wrecked. Items are strewn about, things are broken, and her piano has an unmistakable crack in it. It's like a tornado tore through, that tornado being her. She doesn't care about wars or any other stupid bullshit, because she has more important things weighing on her mind.
See, the past month hasn't been too good to her. She had a body for a while. And now she doesn't. Monika doesn't like that. The asshole that killed her? Not only ruined her short time with a body, but also got to hit and run in the completely unfun way. She really doesn't like that. And being held captive by a demented bear? REALLY NOT LIKING THAT. Noticing a pattern here?
In short, she mad.
She gives a pleasant little hum, resting her clasped hands on the piano's fallboard. ]
Just a quick question today! Are there any robots around?
[ She blinks, still smiling. There are no underlying issues to address here, no siree! She is toootally not getting desperate for freedom, nope nope nope.
Everything is ab~so~lute~ly~ perfect! ]
Just curious~

M... M... MONIKA-KUN!! What has happened?!
video
[ She giggles with a shrug. She woke up like this! ] What do you mean?
video
[The last time he saw someone's room looking that wrecked, it was a murder scene. So he's very concerned.]
no subject
[ Another giggle. ] Nothing serious!
[ A picture finally gives up its struggle to stay hung and falls to the floor. She pointedly ignores it. ]
no subject
I... I apologize, Monika-kun! I trust you a lot, and I do not wish to contradict you... but it looks like something very serious must have happened in that room of yours! It was not always like that, was it?!
no subject
[ Even if it's impossible. Haha. HA. But she's sure that'll change soon. ]
So~ Have you had time to think about the things we talked about at the carnival?
[ That's more important! ]
no subject
I- I am sure that it is! Please know that I would gladly help to clean your room, Monika-kun!
[But then her question stops him in his tracks, and he blushes slightly.]
Ah! Right... th-those matters we discussed! I... have looked a little into it, though... I was also distracted by another matter...
no subject
[ Moving on! There's no need to worry about her room. It's just useless pixels, after all.
She looks concerned. ]
Oh, no! Are you okay? Did something happen?
no subject
Well... ah... you see, shortly after that carnival... someone very dear to me disappeared from this place! She... seems to have been returned home... [To her death.]
no subject
Gosh, I'm so sorry! [ She shakes the last of the joy out of her body, putting on a convincing frown. ] Isn't that good, though? At least she's not trapped here anymore, right?
[ Less competition, score! ]
no subject
[A pause and he bows to the video feed.]
However, I humbly thank you for attempting to help me feel better, Monika-kun.
no subject
She smiles genuinely, trying to smooth down a few bits of her hair. All of a sudden she'd like to look a tad less of a mess for him. ]
You don't have to thank me, Kiyo. It's the least I can do for someone I care about!

Is there, y'know, anything I could do to help you feel better? I don't want to see you sad!
no subject
[He's not sure if anything can truly make him feel better, short of bringing Sayaka back or altering her fate. But he knows that would be an unrealistic thing to ask of her.]
You do not have to trouble yourself for my sake. Just hearing from you helps me to feel well!
no subject
I'm--I'm so glad! But maybe I can write you a poem, at least?
[ Maybe that'll make things more obvious...? ]
no subject
no subject
[ Maybe she'll write "I love you" over and over? Hmm. ]

no subject
I'll get it to you soon, darling.
[ Oops, was that too forward? Haha, nahhh. ]
no subject
...A-ah...! Yes, of course! I would never wish to underestimate your ability as a literature club present!
Now do your best and do not be afraid to take your time... [What else should he say? He's not sure, so he just blurts out-] ...d-dear! [And accompanied by an awkward salute!]
no subject
Monika stands up so she can get closer to the screen and place her palm against it. She pictures how warm he felt when they last touched. How real he made her feel. ]
Thank you, Kiyo. I'll make sure you get the best poem ever.
no subject
Continuing to blush, he smiles timidly and tries to return her gesture as well, placing part of his hand on the screen where her hand is.]
No, I should thank you for doing something so nice! I have faith that it truly will be the best!
no subject
You won't regret falling for me. I promise.
no subject
I apologize - it seems my device had a brief glitch. ...A-ah, but that is reassuring to hear! [Did she say falling for her... Is that what this is? Ishimaru remains as confused as ever!]
