August EMP Meme
FOR GAME ADS: ➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed. ➤ PLEASE NOTE A RULE CHANGE HERE. ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no oversized banners (they must be 250px in height or less), no blinking text, no obnoxious table html that doesn't collapse easily, no sparklies, no large pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad. FOR GAME QUESTIONS: ➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme. ➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. Prismatica is a sci-fi/fantasy neon technological wonderland pan-fandom game. The setting is sex-friendly, but definitely not super required. Furry and sexy-type elements are pick-and-choose to one's own comfort-level. It's a very laid-back environment, backtag friendly and low-pressure ac.
Hetalia cast in general is pretty chill and honestly very open to accepting anybody and everybody from canon. The list of wanted characters are just ones that the cast themselves are specifically seeking, but honestly we'd be pretty excited to get much of anyone on board for more antics.

Diatu is a slow/medium-paced jamjar game set in the magical world of Anastara. Characters are pulled in through Sundering magic, and become students - at any age - attending Diatu Magicademy. The game has a brilliant system of different magic types, and while the mod team has a great sense of humor, the game also has a strong and intriguing underlying plot. There are monthly opportunities for regains, and a very doable AC requirement of one log thread with five comments from your character plus either another log thread with the same minimum length, or a network thread with at least ten comments from your character.
We have a full set of (main) kids in the game, and having some of the grown ducks around would be a blast. The triplets are all up-to-date with Della's return, and have been dealing with that together, and Webby's in-game birthday is coming up in September, with Lena heading the party-planning efforts. Applications are currently open, and will close on 9/4. And if anyone is interested in bringing their ducks over but want to wait for the new episodes to all be out, I'd still love to hear from you, and/or see you on the TDM!

[game info]: Deerington is a horror game inspired by dreamscapes and old style horror in small town America. There's a ton to do and lots of options, as well as sequential events and an overarching plot dedicated to a mysterious girl named Sodder and the deer in the woods. The cast hasn't been around long (we just apped last month) so they're still getting their bearings in the world and looking to explore more of it's mysteries. The AC is 30 "points" a month where log comments count for 3, so you can do it in 10 log comments a month. Also, reserves open tomorrow! [game info]: A survival game located on a far-off archipelago, helped along by a god who runs on stories. From in-game votes, characters are allowed to travel to other islands, discover the mystery of the world itself, it's broken-off islands, and how they happened to come here. AC is VERY low (3 comments in a single thread per month) and involves HEAVY player interaction with the plot. You can also sit back and roll with the punches! It is important to note that it is a low-tech setting and there is some power nerfing (but not total loss)- check out the linked pages for more info.

[game info]: A panfandom game focused on body horror and long term character development on how they deal with those changes. Upon arrival, every new character will be stripped of their previous powers and begin to change into one of the listed monsters. The game is heavily focused on what happens after the change, such as what god you align with, how you go about treating the remaining npc humans, or what you allow yourself to become. Currently, our TAZ cast's permanent monsters are Lup and Taako as Nagas, Barry as a Kelpie, and John as a Troll.
The game has bimonthly apps, so the app round actually isn't open until the end of September- plenty of time to play around and write an app! As far as other game stuff, AC is pretty standard (twenty comments across the board) which can be used from up to five different threads. We also have a super sweet bonus AC system that awards coins that can be used to buy monster upgrades, spells, or even bring in stuff from a character's homeworld. Daybreak Academy is an AU game set at a magic school that trains characters to fend off an oncoming apocalypse called Nightfall. During Nightfall the magical world of the Outlands and the human world would converge, leading to humanity likely being wiped out. Obviously, we don't want that! At Daybreak Academy people from many different walks of life (normal humans, vampires, werewolves, ancient demons, etc etc) come together for the purpose of ensuring it doesn't come to pass.
Despite being an AU game, Daybreak gives players a lot of freedom to create AUs that are as canon-close as possible. Since we have a sizeable cast already, there is a bit of a cast AU already in place, but we'd all love to work with you to expand it and suit it to your needs. A short overview of what we have already established is this:
Garrison: A Rune Guard that fights for the protection of civilians that know nothing about the magical world. It's tragically not space-associated (yet?). James and Nadia are aiming to join it, Pidge's family is in it... It's still pretty roughly defined only, you can carve your space into it.
Altea + Voltron: An ancient Outlands civilization that was destroyed a long long long time ago. The Voltron lions are rune mechs created by this civilization. Allura has currently woken up from her slumber and two of the lions have been found.
Galra: An apocalyptic werewolf clan. Though they are werewolves, their 'human' forms usually involve being huge and purple, don't worry. They currently haven't been discovered in-game yet, so lots of things to work with if you app in fresh.
We still have the mystery of Altea's destruction to fully uncover, but it involves a coalition between Galra werewolves and necromancers! In the future, Allura is also going to be finding Oriande, so we have a lot of exciting things to look forward to.
Missions into the Outlands are possible and encouraged in the game, sometimes with consequences for the whole game. Daybreak's story is a tightly-woven mix of mod-provided world-building and many imaginative player plots. There is a lot of freedom to create the events you want to see and tie them into the overall narrative!

[game info]: Duplicity is a sex game set in a city that is caste-based that explores darker themes, desires, and personality traits. The split occurs between Dominants and Submissives: Doms live in the Up, Subs in the Down, and the city requires Doms and Subs to be contracted within three months. While it is a sex game, there is no sex required for AC, but people are often looking to play darker kinks and to explore darker themes.

Every event has 4 main prompts with clear theming: for the general slice of life, for the fight-happy, for the smut, and for story resolution. Characters come in underneath the influence of one of three moons, so it's also vaguely pseudo furry if you like that kind of thing. Recently characters had the chance to use giant mechs in an event in order to visit the city of Amegahara! The game is laid back and medium paced and extremely backtag friendly. The AC is a breeze and includes a reward system for AC beyond the minimum.

Duplicity is a sex game (but sex is not required for AC) that explores darker aspects of a character's personality and desires in a city that automatically sorts new arrivals into a caste system. Dominants live in the Up, the nicer part of the city, while Submissives are housed in the Down, the city's dark underbelly.
AC requirements are any two of the following: 5 log comments from your character, an open network log or post from your character, 10 network comments from your character, or 15 private inbox comments from your character, and TDM threads can be used!

[game info]: Prismatica is a sci-fi/fantasy game set on the titular planet, which characters are brought to in order to solve an energy crisis centering around "Chroma". Chroma is created by intimate contact, from hand-holding all the way up to smut, and only the new arrivals, also known as Moonblessed, can create this energy source. As their name suggests, the Moonblessed also gain traits from one of the three moons while it's full, ranging from physical to mental traits to ones that encourage making Chroma for those who might otherwise be reluctant. This is all very customisable, so what traits of the moonblessing a character gets can change from moon cycle to moon cycle. Events range from action to suspense to everything in-between - the current event is a bit Pacific Rim flavoured while the last event involved a cult kidnapping. TDM usually goes up about a week into the month (with an EMP generally around the 5th), with apps opening a week later.

[game info]: Aefenglom is set in another world on a continent called Geargadas, a land ravaged by a magical plague called the Cwyld. PCs sucked into this reality will either become Witches or Monsters (Akira is a puca, which is basically a trickster rabbit) and are encouraged to form magical bonds to stabilize their powers!
