FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

[game info]: Mask or Menace (MoM) is a super-hero game; characters are brought in to a world like Earth and they are given super-powers and characters asked to help AMERICA to go against Russia & Allies in a Cold war that never ended. Characters can accept and become heroes, refuse and be neutral, become vigilantes, or just downright villains. The game plot revolves around this, with spies and brainwashing, though you can always opt-out. There are a lot of player plots to be involved with as well, from serious action deal like fighting dragons, to slice-of-life like paintball wars!

Kaneki has been in game for two years, ever since he was Pre-Aogiri, and got canon updated along the way. He has grown a lot and in some ways he hasn't grown at all (self-sacrificing, still fails to see his own worth). In game he has already outed himself as a ghoul for a while now, and thus he had the chance to see that humans and ghouls REALLY can live well together if they try to understand each other. Which is perfect for OEK-Kaneki to hold on to this belief even harder. Kaneki also had the chance through the years to meet several different canon characters in different ways (from Mutsuki, Arima, Uta, Chie) and he also had the chance to face a lot of the things that happened to him so he grew up a bit, yes.

There's always plenty to do and lots to get involved in, and I always find myself with a number of things I could get involved with. Plus, due to the emotion-influenced setting, there are plenty of opportunities for Hearts characters to apply their Somatic abilities. I've ended up with a lot of Spiria Link threads over the months I've been playing there!

[game info]: Eluvio is a pretty new game set on a spaceship! It's still a little slow/medium paced and finding its footing, but the plots are big and fun and very serious. I've been having a blast throwing Eichi into things out of his element, and it's a great game for making close CR with other characters and having them learn how to deal with serious issues like finding dead bodies on the ship or losing gravity/air for an hour. I would really love some castmates for him, both ones who love or hate him or anywhere in between, so if you have any more questions please let me know!

The game is set on a floating island above a ruined world, and in this game characters' emotions have effects on the environment around them. There's a mix of slice-of-life and plot, with room for a variety of tones; what you take on is up to you! There are opportunities to explore the world and discover its mysteries, as well as a task board with a variety of different quests/odd jobs that characters can take on, and of course there are events that play with characters’ emotions. AC is also very simple, with ten comments (or an entry + seven comments) that can be spread across multiple links. Here is the game's navigation; reserves and a test drive are currently open, and apps will be open for the first 4 days of March!

Steven's been in game for over half a year now, and he has grown very homesick. His current canon point is "Mindful Education”, and he recently got wrecked by an event that forced him to confront the conflicted feelings he’s been having about his mother. I feel that this would be an interesting setting for any of the gems or humans, with the emphasis on emotional power, the missions to undertake and the use of crystals as a type of magi-technology! The game also did once have a Rose Quartz, but I do not know if she would be properly appable given the questions raised by recent canon. I would still be happy for any appable castmate(s)! Empatheias is set on a floating island above a pretty ruined world - something that mirrors a lot about the Dangan Ronpa world - and emotions can set a huge impact upon the world around them, as they can literally manifest. There's a good mix of slice and life and plot - what you take from it is what you give and it's totally up to you which path you'd like your character to take! There are plenty of opportunities to explore the world which includes task board jobs, quests, and even excursions that allow characters to delve into the mystery, fun, and even the peculiar. Activity check is also simple, as it's either 10 comments (spread across 2+ links) or an entry and a thread with 7+ comments, so come ahead and join us! As for the Hope's Peak Academy students - they've been adapting to life on the island and working through their issues pretty well. Right now we're in the beginning of a player plot which involves Chisa injuring and killing animals (which is being resolved in March), so if you're interested in what that's all about as a potential apper, feel free to check this out! Hinata and Komaeda are from the end of DR3 (Kibou-hen), while the rest of the cast are currently from their respective games / anime series. Hinata also just recently established a business to teach talents to others and Komaeda himself is one of the Peromei representatives. In terms of ships, Hinata and Komaeda are currently engaged and Naegi is on his (potentially?) way to wooing Kirigiri. We also have a cast Discord chat where we just hang out and have fun as well for those who do get into the game. If you need any resources, feel free to also give me a heads up, as I'm willing to make icons from the games and anime and cry over how bad the lighting is in Mirai-hen.

[game info]: Lost Raiders is an 18+ Create Your Own Adventure-style sandbox set in a flexible, ever-shifting City that's under the consistent eye of two bickering gods who periodically curse and bless The City. The gods are usually sated by offerings of relics found in the surrounding areas, so exploration and IC raiding can play a significant role in the setting.

LR is not a sex game per se, but it does allow for an open, non-judgemental environment for playing out a whole range of themes from fluff and gen to dark and kinky, so it is listed as 18+ for a reason. All events are opt in and AC is conducted on a check-basis, so overall it's quite laid back and largely player-driven. Apps are processed every month and have a word cap of 500 for canon characters and 750 for OCs.

As for Hakkyuu specifically, he's been there for about two months now and got pulled in around the time that Point of No Return takes place, so he's all pre-HoT story line, but as a player I am all caught up on the current story.

[wanted]: I could just say "everyone" and leave it at that, but any of the Son family (Chi-Chi, Goten, Pan, etc.) would be fantastic! Any version of Trunks (main timeline, Future Trunks, Xenoverse...) would be cool too, and Vegeta and Bulma seem like they'd work well in this setting.

Piccolo would be great to have in the game, since he'd pretty much be Space Batman. Having Krillin and Android 18 around would be interesting as well - Goku can't go Super Saiyan in this setting (I figured it would make him more likely to work as part of a team), so the change in that dynamic could be interesting to play with!

Last, but certainly not least, we would love to see Mr. Satan. Seeing as the premise involves characters getting super-powers, there's all sorts of things that could be done with him, like making him ridiculously over-powered, or giving him something that isn't much use, like flight (everyone gets a ring that lets them fly), and watch him get by regardless with the skills that he has. It seems like it would be so much fun to have him in the game.
[game info]: the Legion is set in the 30th century of the DC Comics universe, long after heroes like the Justice League have faded into memory. However, knowledge of the Legion of Superheroes comics isn't a requirement. To combat a menace to time itself, the Legion is calling upon heroes from across various universes to help.

Activity check is once every two months - for your first activity check, you just need to post that you're there, and beyond that, you need several threads with a total of 10 or 20 comments (ex. five or ten for you, and five or ten for the person who you're commenting with). There's lots of combinations, but it's all covered here.

Here's more information as to the sorts of characters and abilities that can be accepted. Reserves for new players are open at the moment, and there is a test drive to try if you want to try out your character in the setting.

For people outside of the Fairy Tail guild, we'd love to see Jellal, anyone from Crime Sorciere, Kagura, Millianna, or any of the Spriggan Twelve. Given the people who are already in the game, any of the founding members of Fairy Tail (Hades/Precht, Warrod, Yuri Dreyar, or Zeira) could be interesting. Tartaros still has a base in this setting from when its members were there previously, so someone from there could be fun! (For the players, at least)

[game info]: Genessia is a fairly easy-going slice of life game. It's a jamjar, with the option for investigating the city and its mysteries (who sent them there, why, etc.) The city itself is divided into several zones, loosely corresponding to genres and settings of the canons (modern, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). The game encourages player-run plots, and there are in-game elections for Guardians, people who are jn charge of keeping each zone safe. More information can be found here.

Erza's a new arrival in the setting, but the fact that a branch of the Fairy Tail guild is in Genessia (built by characters who were there previously) and one of the jobs is bounty hunting (which involves a lot of odd jobs, so basically what they already do in canon) makes it really easy to adapt.

From a player's standpoint, the game is really easy to get into. Just post on the Taken list and you're good - no application necessary! As long as you post somewhat regularly, respond to the check-in every couple of months, and stay in-character for who you're playing as, you're good to go!

Or you can stay neutral and just enjoy the smut. It's pretty fun!

Rin has been in the game since the beginning and is pretty well settled in, while Mephisto is getting involved in fucking shit up as usual. And he really doesn't appreciate being forced to play Mr. Dad to Rin. It's hard to say who is made more miserable by the other's presence. There's a lot of fun to be had with the setting, and I'd love more opportunities to play there with castmates!

[game info]: Recollé takes place in a modern city setting and is a primarily SoL AU memory-loss game with the potential for memory regains. So far in-game, characters have been invited to try a new social media app called Retrospec, but these users have found something they have in common with one another: they're beginning to notice things that average citizens don't. Midousuji has forgotten completely that he's ever been cyclist; instead, he's an overachieving student who is striving to become a doctor. How far you stray from their canon history is up to you: characters can continue to be cyclists or cycling enthusiasts, or you can go with something completely different, like Toudou the fashion model, Teshima the jockey, Fukutomi the actor... I'm just going to come up with weirder things every time. Tune in next month for Manami the aspiring astronaut.

[wanted]: GIVE US MORE TANKS!! REINHARDT and WINSTON would be AMAZING. we literally want everyone, UNFORTUNATELY, due to canon rules, any character w/o an animated short or a comic is unappable right now (i.e. zarya, mei, mercy, lucio, DVA, zenyatta).

[game info]: Recolle is a medium-paced, brand new game set where all characters are fashioned into an AU life. They live in the city of, you guessed it, Recolle where the most invasive social media ever downloads itself to your character's phone, horses are currently Chocobos (or is the other way around?), and characters sometimes remember random things about a life they are pretty sure they never lived. Due to the AU nature of the game, it's very easy to work out a history with existing characters in the game, including making a family unit when characters are not related by blood, or patching up relationships that may have fell apart in the original canon.

Ana (still a badass), Gabe (forever in pain), and Jack (always a disappointment) are currently all old veterans trying to get used to living normal lives, while reconnecting after a 10 year disappearing act from each other. Jesse, who is Gabe's son, is fresh out of prison and just trying to make it.

[Game Info]:Lost Carnival is a panfandom game centered around the activities of a MAGIC INTER-DIMENSIONAL TRAVELLING CARNIVAL. It goes places and a lot of weird (like seriously totally random collection of people) people work their either because they were tricked or because the Ringmaster can make your wish come true.

Major themes include the mental and physical transformations that come with being exposed to the carnival’s faerie magic, as well as the dangers that come from meddling with other worlds.

A game very much open to player plots and you can even run your own event if you want! Right now vampires are attacking, but before this everyone was chilling in Atlantis. Come check us out!! TDM is here!

[game info]: The Pines is horror game that opened about a month ago. It's based on the Wayward Pines book series (though you need to know nothing about that series), and is set in a small idealic town in the mountains where characters wake up. There's an interesting memory mechanic wherein characters seem to have memories of life in the Pines in addition to their own memories. There's a sort of mem-loss mechanic at the start too, but literally only for a few days before your character can begin to regain memories again, and will have them back completely within a fortnight.

The AC is very easy (literally just a sign in, and a sentence telling the mods the things your character has been up to). It's on the slowish side at the moment, but as I said it's very early days and there's only been one app round, so it may pick up. Apps are open at the moment, and close on the 1st at midnight! Here's the FAQ because it could probably explain things better than I could.

Lighter hair is on the bottom caste where you're treated like trash and darker hair is at the top where you're treated like royalty. Wild Tiger and Sky High have taken to protecting the golden city of Tanagura as official peace-keepers, while Origami Cyclone has taken up a more vigilante role in the dark city of Midas. With tensions mounting against the caste system on both sides, peace and prosperity is getting harder and harder to uphold! They're in desperate need of reinforcements and maybe some shoulders to cry on.

[wanted]: WHERE IS CORAN??? I would also personally like an Ulaz, and I think the IC confusion generated by having someone from the original Voltron or GoLion would be great. (They count as different canons, so us having the VLD version of a character does not make the original Voltron or GoLion equivalents unappable.)
[game info]: Empatheias (mostly) takes place in a charming little steampunk town located on a floating island high above a ruined world, with the game's overall aim being to restore life to said ruined world with the power of our ~emotions~ because in Emp, characters' emotions can and do have tangible effects on the environment around them. The game is roughly equal parts slice of life and adventuring with lots of opportunities for shenanigans and pain both. AC is light (10 comments or 1 entry + 7 comments per month) and the game runs at roughly a medium pace with widespread backtagging.

As for what's been going on with the Voltron cast recently: the Paladins just bought and moved into a house and it's very exciting. (They were previously all crammed into the dinky two-bedroom apartment that Shiro got when he was the only one in the game, trust me, getting a full house is very exciting for them.) Things started off kind of awkward with Thace because the Paladins are all from Season 1 canonpoints but then Shiro got a canon update to the end of Shiro's Escape so now things are... still kind of awkward because we still don't know him specifically but at least now we know he's not lying about being a good guy. Keith will be canon updating at the start of March to the end of Blade of Marmora and Lance will be updating to an as-of-yet-undetermined point around the same time.

Also we've collectively adopted/been adopted by a sparkly eccentric Victorian uncle who really needs to meet our sparkly eccentric space uncle so Shiro can continue to Regret Everything. I'm just sayin'.

[wanted]: Anyone else from the Borderlands cast, but especially a Maya (ftr; wellplayedbitch is me down below).
[game info]: Thisavrou is a pretty awesome mix of SoL and meta, with a lot of room for individual player plots, but also room for people to propose their own plots and have them done game-wide. It allows a pretty awesome exploration of planets and such, and in my opinion makes for an awesome place for Borderlands muses to end up!

Victory Road is, as you might expect, a fun little jaunt in the Poke-verse. It's a bit more SoL and has been slow-going, but a new mod staff has been brought on and I suspect a lot of interesting things will be happening soon (including a Borderlands plot involving Jack and Angel, hopefully).

[game info]: the concept of the game is kink bingo! your character gets a bingo card, and then they get money when they do kinks on the card. also they're stuck on a space station. if they complete the card, they should be able to get enough money to go home, but they don't have to.
