FOR GAME ADS:

➤ Put an ad up with the characters / crew / pairings / fetish you want for your game under the correct game header. This meme is primarily going to be focused on DWRP games but IJ and LJ games are allowed.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding (no font size > size 4 or 3 "big" tags, no banners, no blinking text, no obnoxious tables, no sparklies, no pictures). Use all the colors you like, but please remember 3 "big" tags is the limit and that's only for headers or title text rather than for all the text in an ad.

FOR GAME QUESTIONS:

➤ RPers interested in a game can create a header for the game and ask questions about that game that aren't easy to find on faqs, such as the actual pace vs. what's listed/what kind of plots are run/if the game leans more towards plotty or slice of life/if a game leans more towards network or logs, etc. Both anon questions and anon answers are welcome in this section just like in the rest of the meme.

➤ This thread is not for speaking about wank or drama in a game. There are anoncomms that exist for that. This thread is specifically for general questions about a game that rpers want to get perspective on from players already in the game. Answers can be slightly negative (such as saying app response is slow or that the plots are repetitive or similar things) but this should at least be worded politely. Unnecessary vitriol, any mention of personal drama or wank, or mod teams/individual mods/players being singled out, will be frozen and/or deleted.

FOR CHARACTER ADS:

➤ Put up an ad about the characters you are offering. For PSL/1-on-1 ads, there is a separate subthread but for character ads for games, post directly to the meme post. Others will comment to you with the games/casts they want you to join.

➤ There is a "Find a Castmate" section, where you can talk about a cast you play in at a game, and try to lure people to join it. Not all games post to the meme or have a "wanted" section, so players that want to tempt people to their cast on their own can use this section for it. Please format this the same as the PSL/1-on-1 section, where you post the canons in your subject. For the actual text of the ad you must use the "Find a Castmate" form provided at the bottom of this post so that these ads don't get huge. When listing who's currently in a cast, please do this in sentence form (with commas) rather than in list form.

➤ ABSOLUTELY NO obnoxious coding, with the same rules as the Game Ads Section above.

➤ If you're recommending a game to someone, try to match your suggestion to their needs. It's okay if part of your game rec is copy-pasted (such as what the game's about), but at least some part of the rec must be personalized to their ad. Try not to recommend the same game to every single ad, either. Ad spam that isn't individualized in some way will also be screened.

IN GENERAL:

➤ Don't be a dick. This isn't one of the anoncomms, so any snide comments or unnecessary commentary on the RP plans of others will be screened.

I fell back into Who really hard recently and my love of Adric was revived. I knew the second I found out fandom hated him ages ago... that I'd end up wanting to rp him.

and oh man, i'm glad you got to her first episode! it takes a while for her to come back after that first appearance, but it's definitely a memorable one.

Hiya ~

There's quite a Who Cast at

thewake. It's a medium pace game. Characters 'wake' in a nexus and are able to learn bending (magical powers) but the main point of the game is character development.

The AC is 20 comments per month; with the first month just a check in.

No Crau sadly.

the game I've got Twelve in,

maskormenace, is a bit on the faster end of things but ac is flexible in the sense that it can be made by two different sets of logs/posts/thread comments. and look, I adore Adric, I had to at least comment to make grabby hands in your general direction and commend you on your choice of character.

oh man, thanks for the rec! a faster pace can sometimes be off-putting for me, but the ac does look really flexible and the setting is cool! plus i adore twelve he's such a top quality doctor. i could always try tossing adric on the latest tdm to see how it takes!

Hello hello, yet another game with a Who cast to mob ya.

Fade Rift is a medieval-ish fantasy game based around the Dragon Age video games — though canon familiarity isn't necessary! We've got a Jamie McCrimmon and a Twelfth Doctor at the moment.

No CRAU, alas, but characters can be AU'd into the setting, or come in from their original worlds through a magical rift. We're slow-to-medium, and very backtag-friendly. AC can be met a bunch of different ways: with an open post, an open log, 5 log comments in a thread, or 10 network comments in a thread. Tagging different people nets you bonus points for IC rewards, but you're not required to keep track of those unless you want to.

There are regular events as part of a larger metaplot to Save The World, and all that entails. Smaller missions can be written and hosted by players as well, so there's almost always something going on, but plenty of opportunity for SOL as well.

Hihi, I'm so glad to see your Adric around again! (We've played off each other quite a bit over the years in different guises.)

I play Twelve over at Fade Rift and I'm really loving the game! I'm completely canon blind to Dragon Age, but coming from the old D&D table top days, this game has been wonderful to join. (It feels a lot like that, only online, obviously.)

AC might look complex, but it's actually super easy, they just give you a LOT of ways to meet AC. They actually reward you for going above/beyond basic AC (Which few games seem to do, so if you have a month you can be really active, you get rewarded for that.)

I also love how the mods involve as many people as possible directly into the different plots and still have huge swaths of the plots open to everyone.

Anyway, I'd love to see Adric there :) But completely understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, so I wish you the best in finding a place that feels right to you.

Medietas is CRAU friendly! AC is moving to a check in and the pace is about a 5 but can kick up during events plot. Nobody from Classic Who but we have an awesome crew from New Who.

For what it's worth,

cityofsin is CRAU-friendly and has some Doctor Who/Torchwood folks running around.

I definitely appreciate the offer and the game premise is interesting! Unfortunately, Adric isn't quite old enough to be apped in there, and I'd probably feel a little weird playing him there even if he were 18.

I'll keep CoS in mind for potential future character prospects, though! Thanks again!

Hello! I saw your posting and thought Seven Hides might be a good, if not interesting fit for you.

sevenhides is a small, slow paced game with a low AC (10 comments a month, and very backtag friendly) that focuses on exploration of an abandoned city, weird talking animals with special powers, and a monthly (optional, but encouraged) murder game.

We are absolutely CRAU friendly! We have a CRAU Harry Potter in Seven Hides right now, and we would welcome any other CRAU characters you would like to throw at us!

There is memory loss in the form of individual memories either being taken or entirely new ones being added to garner favors from said talking animals with special powers. It's not usually an all at once thing (though if it is, then it's temporary) but piece by piece.

I hope this sounds interesting and that you would be up for checking us out. We also have a new Test Drive Meme up if you'd like to try us out that way first.
