Unseelie Locket Network, voice

In light of the decree given by the Black Shuck, I am seeking to try and create a database of banshee sightings, to try and help get teams of people or individuals out to the exact location and to give them a hand. To that extent, if anyone is willing to volunteer where they’re interested in heading, so that a note of it might be made and more ground can be be covered by others checking to see if an area has been seen to, please let me know. The goal is to organize something useful, so that this can be done as completely as plausible.

To Hermione-Net, voice

Hi all. To make a long story short, with the temporary lax standards the Shuck has forced our monarchs to to take, I’m temporarily allowing Unseelie and Seelie alike into the Barrel to try and get this banshee task attended to in the most concise manner possible. I’m trying to collect all possible sightings, and I’ll be happy to pass on spots to check out for anyone who’s interested in restoring their voices.

Obviously for everyone’s safety I’m going to ask that those of you making use of the Barrel try and not go too far astray from the task before us. However, if you need a place for final farewells, I’m not exactly going to stop you either.

Please let me know if you have questions, otherwise I do look forward to seeing a number of you for a final round of cooperation before we have to get back to killing each other.

Hard at work? [ She only caught the end of the message and doesn't really want to pry more than that so she says nothing else on the matter as she lifts her head up from the large pile of pillows and blankets that lined the floor.

The 'cuddle pile' isn't anything new, but with the sun shining down brightly through the windows it did make the ideal place for six little girls to nap. Seven if anyone counted Rin--which they should--and often up to eight if Scian felt especially clingy.

Normally the girls beat Rin to waking up, but she must have heard something that startled her from her otherwise peaceful slumber. It's rare for her to be this alert after a nap. ]

About to begin.

[Waver sighs, and stands up from the chair he's in. There's no need to attend to the lockets and the other networks now. They've slowed, and his head aches from so much rapid fire planning.]

I had to fake some static too.

Static?

[ She never used her telephone enough to catch the reference so she stifles a yawn before curling back down around one of the clingier girls. ]

[Waver sighs, and settles down beside Rin. It's Leto that clings to Rin, and out of instinct, Waver reaches to take Roxana into his arms. She'll become a favourite like this, but how can she not be? She's a lasting connection to Rider, named after Rider's own wife.]

Fake noise to end communication. It was--[Waver sighs, closing his eyes and leaning into the pillows.] I did not realize the reverend had access to Hermione's network. I needed an excuse to end the call.

[ She's warned him about playing favorites, but that's what she's here for. While he indulges Roxana's desire to be held, Rin spreads herself thin between the other six children of the house. Not that she has any complaints about that, not when most of the time it involves laying around in the sun in the middle of the day. ]

Kirei... [ She mutters disdainfully causing Leto to wrap her fingers up in the loose hair of the magus sleepily. ]

[Lysandra makes her way over to Waver as well, happy to burrow into his stomach while Roxana maintains the hold on Waver's arms.]

I wish you had let me know that's why you went to Leathann the other day--

I'm an adult woman who can make her own choices in life. [ She says with a bit of drool down the side of her face.

Might be hard to tell if it belongs to her or one of the girls. ] So I visited with Kirei. So what?

How'd it go?

[Waver's angry she went without telling him, but...

well, this is more important.]

[ He would have stopped her. Plus she told him. Sort of. She told him she went to Leathann? That's close enough. ]

Hmph.

Look at this nerd trying to get me to talk to him after he talked about me behind my back. [ She murmurs into Leto's face with a softer tone before taking her hand and kissing it. ] Should I kill him? I should really kill him.

[ It's a good thing they don't know how to speak (well??) yet. ]

[Leto only lets out a sleepy yawn, and tries to burrow into Rin more. The girls are talking - mostly asking for dad and mum - but now it's nap time. No words.]

I only know because someone else told me. And...I only want to know in case you don't come back. I know I wouldn't have been able to stop you, in the end.

You don't think I can win in a fight against Kirei and Gilgamesh?!

[ Out of the three of them, who walked out of the war alive? It sure as hell wasn't either of them! ]

I live in paranoia, Rin, and with Rider gone I'm going to worry about who remains.

Roxana, should I beat dad up?

[ Because she's feeling as though she should as if to reiterate the point she won't lose to either of those two men. ]

[A tired yawn responds. So yes, mum, of course!]

[ It appears as though the future will be full of seven to one arguments. Waver better start stocking up the treats and gifts to appease them while he still can. ]

I handled it, Waver Velvet.

That's all you need to know about what took place.

[Waver sighs, and turns to face Rin with a pale face.]

Can you at least let me know the next time you're heading off? I promise not to follow.

That doesn't stop you from calling in favors from your friends within the Seelie court. [ She points out stubbornly as she sits up, letting the girls fall asleep around her.

By now they're used to ignoring her when she gets riled up like this. It... happens a lot. Rin's screaming and high pitched tone is like background noise to everyone in the household. ]

I didn't want you to know because I know how you get when it comes to Gilgamesh and with Rider gone now...

[Rin's got his number on that. Gilgamesh may be changed, but winds can always be reverted to their original direction. He sighs, resting his nose atop Roxanna's head.]

You do know me well.

[he smiles, tired at that simple fact.]

To them both I'm still the little girl that my father sheltered. [ She explains quietly, letting her voice drop only because of the sensitive topic.

Her father always did that to her. June was hellish on her emotions due to the combination of a certain celebratory day and his birthday. Last year she kept busy with the tournament, the Magic Guild, and various other projects. None of which existed for her this year.

Funny how they age much slowly here, but everything can be gone within a year's time. Even traditional things like the tournament that took place every year could be taken away. Just like they can lose age-less spirits. ]

They'll be cautious, but will continue to underestimate me.

And more fool them. Rin Tohsaka is no sheltered child.

[And Waver glows with pride as he says it. The Rin he knows, the Rin he adores, she is a conqueror of her own sort. She takes what she wants, runs her businesses, and is compassionate throughout. She, in the future, destroys the Holy Grail. She's created entire flying ships in the Drabwurld, and she has moved ever forward.]

... but to see that man for myself as he was when he knew my father.

[ It makes her blood boil. ]

In due course, he'll be dealt with.

[If not by Rin's hand, then others'.]

Allies in his own court distrust him.

[ Shaking her head in disbelief. ] Gilgamesh protects him.

I have no trouble believing he would burn down the entire court in order to keep what he sees as belonging to him to himself.

Good, an Unseelie victory without us lifting another finger.

You have friends that are involved with the Seelie Court. [ Rin has no friends other than him (that she voices out loud) so she pushes the point using Waver as an example instead of herself. ]

Could you really stand by and lose others to that man?
