A: Shockwave

[Loki is very aware of the shockwave--fascinated and perhaps slightly concerned. While on the Paisley, he's closeted in his office and trying to work out what it could have been. Occasionally he can be seen stalking around like a riled up cat, making himself endless cups of tea. As soon as they're within distance of the planet, he's gone in search of the source.]

B: Forest Wandering

[He likes this even better than the previous forest, and explores widely. Loki can be found at nearly any depth in the forest, sitting in the trees or wandering the paths. He's feeling more energized than ever, and knows that the forest is definitely the source. But he's also searching for the SOS, knowing that it might have something to do with the energies as well. Curiosity level: INTENSE.]

C: Magic

[With all the free energy around, Loki's doing some serious magic work, particularly working on enchantments for his daggers and a few other objects--as well as working on some more experimental spells. This could be fascinating or incredibly worrying, depending on how you view him. And hey, you might be able to cut a deal with him for an enchanted object of your own.]

D: Choose You Own Adventure

[He's going to be down on the planet almost constantly, so he's around for all shenanigans.]

[ Leto is only here to watch the show. He has no magic of his own, though his experiences with magic are fairly formidable after Aather. And Leto prefers to watch anyway instead of partaking. ]

[Loki does like to be watched, with appreciation or fear. So he's happy to let Leto observe as he walks his circle and weaves another layer of magic into the best of the daggers he's been able to find. The power all around makes the process one of elation.

The enchantment finished, he walks over to Leto and drapes himself across the man's lap like a satisfied cat.]

[ Leto laughs, a sharp appreciative bark, like the ringing of steel in the forge before he twines his fingers in Loki's hair, quiet soothing strokes. ]

How did it go?

[He makes a contented little sound, leaving into that touch a bit.]

Well. Soon, I shan't be shamed of my makeshift weapons any longer.

Were they so bad?

[ Leto never uses weapons anymore. His crysknife was taken and most likely perished by now. It needed to be close to a living body in order to remain intact. ]

I am accustomed to the work of dwarves. This compares not at all. But I shall reinforce them and place upon them useful enchantments.

[And he's enjoying that part.]

[ Leto hums, still brushing through Loki's hair. ]

It seems like you have it all planned out.

I know what I find most useful.

[Normally, Stefan has one policy regarding Loki: "Don't bother him."

But honestly, he's also eternally fascinated with magic. So as he comes across Loki this time, he folds his arms. He's trying super hard not to look as intrigued as he is, but it's failing. (It's superbly failing.)]

[murmured:] That's incredible.

[It's an intelligent policy to have, really.

Right now, Loki's in a very good mood, because he's doing magic and feeling so energized about the entire thing. He finishes the circuit of his clearing that he's making, then turns a smile on Stefan.]

Of course it is.

[Stefan's laugh is a nervous one as he stuffs his hands in his pockets.]

Stating the obvious, I guess. [...] So uh, may I ask what you're working on?

An enchantment.

[He holds out his hand, and one of his daggers flips up into it.]

[For the dagger, huh? Stefan tilts his head thoughtfully.]

Just 'cause? I know the animals here feel more magical than usual.

There is an excess of energies here that make this sort of work more easily done.

It is all more... magical than usual.

That's good, right? In terms of making all your work easier?

[It's a genuine question. Honestly, it's a mixed bag for Stefan, considering how much energy's packed into the local fauna.]

[He was already regretting coming down to the planet to get away from Heron for a bit. He was used to life on Imperial and First Order star destroyers but the ships here were cramped even by his standards.

It gave him a chance to find an odd ship part buried half in the dirt not far into the forest. He was focused on brushing the dirt off of it with gloved fingers, wrinkling his nose at the dirt, when he heard the sound of someone else nearby. Instantly his hand went for the stun weapon in his pocket though he didn't draw it just yet.

He only released the weapon when he turned around to see who it was. Of course, it was just his luck to run into Loki here when he had been hoping for some peace and quiet.]

Out for a stroll?

[Loki leans against a tree, utterly relaxed.] I've been down here quite a lot, actually.

You don't strike me as the sort of enjoy the out-of-doors.

I don't, actually. [Between nature and his tendency to sunburn easily, being outside was something he usually avoided.]

But you seem the type to become one with nature, magic of trees and such.

How honored we all are, for you to have made a foray so against your nature.

[He laughs softly.] I've a reason to be fond of such things. But there is a much better reason, here.

I'm sure. [He had his reasons for being down here but he wasn't going to go into that with Loki of all people.]

How so? I know others have mentioned something odd about this planet. [Hux was not at all magically inclined or Force sensitive so he felt exactly nothing except annoyance at how dirty his boots were going to be when he got back.]

There's a great deal of free energy to be had.

What kind of energy? [He wasn't surprised he couldn't feel anything aside from his usual annoyance with nature.

But if this was some kind of practical energy he could use, that would be nice. He wasn't optimistic though, he suspected it was a Force-like thing.]
