[ With the new puffy coat, Firo doesn't realize that the little person in front of him is Czes until he's just a few paces away. He stops in his tracks, grappling with disbelief, before running the rest of the way to him. ]

[ Oh, what do you mean you were thinking of using a fake name in Luceti..?]

I've been here. What are you doin' here?

[ He's about to ask how long Czes has been here and if he needs anything explained, when he's hit by a sense of urgency. Sorry, Czes, Firo has priorities. ]

Is Ennis okay?

[ He blinks and furrows his brow in confusion. Surely Maiza must have explained the situation with the note to Czes after Firo ran off? ]

She wasn't kidnapped?

[ It suddenly occurs to him that maybe Maiza didn't want to worry Czes, and so kept quiet about it. He quickly shakes his head. ]

Uh, never mind. How long have you been here?

A few months. Nobody's noticed I'm gone?

[ He's heard a lot of people saying that time stops while you're in Luceti, but it'll be nice to finally confirm that. ]

Ya really think so? It was September 1933 when I was last home.

1932? So how long ago did we meet?

[ At least Czes isn't from even before then, he can't imagine how badly Czes would react to a stranger knowing his name. ]

[ Firo has a hard time disguising his worry, but he doesn't want to go into what was happening when he was taken to Luceti. No use in making Czes worry. ]

Nothin' much. You seem to be gettin' along with everybody fine.

[ ...Drat. Still, Firo's not going to give in too easily. He crosses his arms and sighs. ]

Nothin' too important. It's not like you can do anything about it while you're here or when you're back home... I can take care of it, okay?

[ Despite his nervousness just thinking about the danger Ennis is facing, he tries to muster a comforting smile for Czes. ]

[ Firo hesitates. Telling Czes can't help anything, only make it worse, but he can't just say nothing. ]

She was kidnapped.

[ Firo growls and goes to grab Czes' shoulders after the punch. He blames himself, as well but it hurts to have someone else say it. ]

I let it happen? She'd already left when it happened! She was out with Ronnie lookin' for Isaac and Miria-!

[ He stops abruptly and some of the anger drains away. Because it's his fault they ran away in the first place. ]

She- She didn't want me to!

[ She'd told him to stay back and work on his apology for them. Czes has a point, though; why didn't he insist on going with her? Two capos accompanying her would have been better than one. ]

Ronnie was with her, I thought she'd be fine...
