There was a few reasons for Rinoa's stop by Snow's office today. One of them was to see about getting some one on one advice about how she could expand the conditioning regiment he'd given her before to keep up with her growing competence and the other involved something completely unrelated to school all together.

Walking into the room, she headed over to where he was training calling out as she walked across the room.

"Hey Snow, do you have a minute?"

Of course he did, but she might as well ask and let him know that she was there.

"Well you can be pretty silly, so you never know." Rinoa answered with a smile of her own.

"She's been great! Her style is so different from Squall's and Seifer's that it's been really fun to learn. I'm still not sure if I like all the flips though. I'm afraid I'm going to land on my face one of these days." Combine her appreciation for Lightning's training with the fact that thing have stayed relatively patched up between Squall and herself and life's pretty good. Well, it is if you discount the nightmares and other things anyway.

"It's pretty easy to adapt some of her techniques for the style of gunblades we use here." Rinoa reassure him happily. "It takes a little trial and effort sometimes, but I've gotten good at adapting lately."

She nods, understanding just what he's saying. "It's not like I can compete with Squall and Seifer when it comes to strength so the only way I'll ever be able to beat them someday is by being faster, right?"

Rinoa laughed at his emphasis, clearly amused by the idea. "That's the plan anyway." Leaning back onto the heels of her feet, she brought up her first point of business. "I was actually hoping you could help me a little? I've been doing the same conditioning since you showed it to me on break, but I don't think it works quite as well anymore. Any ideas?"

"Adding some strength wouldn't be too bad, I just don't want to end up all macho." She wrinkled her noise at the thought. "I don't think I'd like very good all beefy and muscular." The very idea was pretty funny though, so she takes a moment to giggle about the idea.

"It's really paying off! A few weeks ago, we had to run an obstacle course and then fight as well. There's no way I could have managed to finish the course and then do all that fighting too this time last year. Now I can manage all of that without even getting too tired." Which was a feat since she'd treated the obstacle course like a race and had gone through it as quickly as she could manage. The fight itself wasn't exactly a cakewalk either especially since she'd been up against someone with a lot more experience than her.

She brightened at this reminder, taking heart that maybe all hope wasn't lost after all. "You're right, Lightning and Tifa are two of the strongest people I know. If they can get that strong and still look like they do, maybe I can too!" Which might be a little unfair, she's already the strongest sorceress in their world after all. Making her tough and strong too? Talk about overpowered.

"I'll definitely see if I can talk to her soon. Thanks for idea!" Rinoa rocked back on her heels then, time for a subject change.

"Did I ever tell you about the Forest Owls, Snow?" It's likely over the course of her toning that she's mentioned a few things, but just how much she'd talked to him about it, was anyone's guess.

Well, there's one person who probably won't freak out too bad whenever it finally comes out just who on Garden actually is a sorceress at least.

At his question, she laughed a little bit before correcting him. "We were trying to free Timber, not Lumber. Though you were pretty close."

"You were!" She nodded, smiling a little. "It's the Owls I wanted to talk to you about. You see, I was thinking about starting up a new version of them. Just to try and make things better for the world as a whole."

Which she'd need when/if that news ever hits the light of day, because the poor girl is going to need all the help and support she can get.

"That's about it!" Somehow, he'd expected him to catch on pretty fast considering. "So you know what I want to ask then, right?" Hey, she had plenty of reasons to want to ask Snow to join. One, because he was familiar with this sort of stuff. Two, because they could certainly use someone besides Bulla who had a lot of raw strength. Finally, because they should probably have at least one instructor involved in case someone decided to complain.

"Thanks. We can need all the help we can get." She smiles, leaning back slightly. "And this way we've got an Instructor involved in case anyone wants to make a fuss, right?" Snow does have that advantage now that he's a teacher, he's got authority!

"No and neither can the Owls, that's why it's such a good fit!"

"From the sounds of it, you're pretty used to being the target so why not?" She laughed along with him though, clearly just joking. "Though if they have any problems with our actions they can talk to me about it. It's not like we've got anything to hide." She did, the Owls as a whole did not. "Don't worry, no more brands." Rinoa held up her hand, the silver links on her wrist glinting in the light. "Unless fashion accessories count as brands now?"

"So that's what that means. I was wondering what they were for." She does share a class with Serah after all. "I thought that's what it meant, but guess I know for sure now." She held out her arm so he could get a better look at the bracelet she was wearing.

"We tried to make it simple enough so that it wouldn't look weird on guys or girls." The design was basically that of your average id bracelet - it had her name and the head of an owl on the little plate.

"Hm, do you think too many people will even notice? I know I thought it was just a really funny tattoo at first." In a world where it's totally okay to have random marks on parts of your body, is his brand really that big of a deal?

"I can talk to Bulla and Sharpay to see what we can come up with though, if you want."
