[There is a look of surprise on Brainstorm's face. He never really expected someone else from the Lost Light to show up after all this time. He's not really pleased, but he's not displeased, either. After all, it could have been someone much worse than Chromedome that showed up.]

Either I've been fed lies about the passage of time back home and Rodimus or someone sent you to find me, or you've been pulled here as well. Going by your reaction, however, I'm betting on the latter.

I would not refer to the past nine months as 'fun' in any sense of the word. At least in general.

Well, that would tie into my comment about the passage of time - supposedly time back home stays still while we're here...

[There's a pause, then Brainstorm waves his hand as if to dismiss that idea.]

However, I'm getting ahead of myself. Remember all that weird scrap that went down with the pink-armored psycho, Hardhead, and the Dead Universe?

Well, you get to experience the amazing wonder of another info-dump, just like that - including the excess of nonsensical weirdness! Except a different kind, though given the lack of Decepticons, I think that's rather obvious.

Anyway...

Welcome to Hinoto-Ri, what is apparently some sort of last bastion of society on a derelict Earth of another reality. We, and others have been brought here to help it in some currently-unknown fashion. The population is mostly organic - there's mechanical beings, but as of right now, you and I are the only Cybertronians.

Also this is some strange world where magic exists, as well as other supernatural things. Also we have weird things in our heads that are supposed to be able to help us out in daily life and in combat. I personally think they're strange and weird and want nothing to do with mine.

That, well...

I've been having to make do with processed local energy sources. It's not exactly been a pleasant way of getting by, but it's doable.

There's enough, yes. It might not be an ideal source of fuel, but it will do for the time being until I can get my hands on something more suitable.

On top of all the bizarre things in this world, locations from other worlds have been cropping up. Perhaps we'll get lucky and an energon mine will show.

Well, I'd have to - I have too much work to do, and it's not like we have a surplus of disenfranchised manual-classers around to do it, now do we?

[Oh, Chromedome, you cad.]

Well, yes and no. Drones I build wouldn't have sparks, nor would they rise up and cause a civil war.

It's the best analogue to energon I could craft with the technology and fuel sources available to me. Which is to say it's terrible, because the fuel sources here are organic in nature; I'm a weapons engineer, not a distiller; and this world is so very backwards, technologically. Even so, I doubt Perceptor could do better in these conditions.

As for getting it, I've got what I've made stored in my workshop in the Cancer district.

[Well, it's better than Nightmare Fuel, or weapons-grade nucleon.]

Like I said, it's not an ideal setup, but yes, better than nothing.

Well, they may have another big warehouse-esque building they'd hand out. Or they may stick you with me, I'm not certain.

[Brainstorm raises an eyebrow just slightly at the assumption, but what the hell, he'll go with it. It's Chromedome, after all.]
