[voice, public]
[Viridi has learned her lesson.
...Well no she hasn't she never does, but she can at least recognize the fact that the people here were too stupid to be expected to understand why gods needed to communicate the way they did. Or how, exactly, this sort of communication worked.
The telepathic broadcast is once again aimed to everyone within the city. Instead of ringing directly in the ears of the unwashed masses, though, it seems to be reverberating from their communications devices instead. There's an oddly echoing quality to it, and they'll find that her voice is impossible to shut off through the COMP, but hey. She tried.]
So.
You've all been busy. Paying visits to the mysterious 'Velvet Room', huh?
I couldn't help but notice that you're all practically lining up out the door to do favors for some strangers you don't know from Adam. I'd call it altruistic, but we all know you're just hoping to get some shiny trinkets out of it. A new weapon here, a better Persona there... Call me crazy, but it's almost like you're making offerings in the hopes of receiving a blessing from some higher power you're pretty sure is benevolent. Isn't it weird how familiar that sounds? And you know, come to think of it, I could use a spare hand for some fetch quests, too. Since you're all just so eager to be helpful, I'm sure you have time to spare.
Of course, I don't need anyone's faith, but a few favors here and there might just mean some handy-dandy divine intervention in your future. I'm a goddess of my word.
You can even ask Pit! My Treasure Hunt board had the ideal balance of difficulty to reward. Palutena's was the lamest thing ever and Hades basically made his for sadists. So act fast! Once I've got what I want, you're just plain old out of luck.

[She won't even charge the first few times out of a show of goodwill.]

[She's getting used to people having some kind of powers in the city and while she won't go shouting it from the rooftops, she's getting used to the idea of her own ability being considered more 'normal' around here.]

We're going to have to fix that at some point. You don't have wings, but. No one said the Power of Flight had to make sense.

Are you serious?
no subject
Don't believe me? I wouldn't get too excited, anyway. It's five minutes max, and it's not like there's much room to fly around in this half-dead world.

Off the wall? Is he all right?

I haven't seen him cheerful once; it's like I got some sort of weird clone that just moans and complains about everything. Do you know how annoying that is? And now he's trying to mate with a human!

[She trusts Pit enough to think that there won't be any Nephilim any time soon.]

Pit is going to live forever. For-ev-er. ...Ideally. I mean, he's got two goddesses looking after him, so it's pretty likely. Not that I really care if he dies; the past thirty years have been more or less a blink of an eye.
...
The point is, this is never a good idea. Doesn't he read any mythology?!

[Somebody else is certainly blinded, anyway.]
It's some sort of weird infatuation. They've known each other what, a month? Even humans give it more time than that!

What I meant was it's entirely possible he's going through something similar.

But have you tried to broach this particular subject with him if you're that concerned about his well-being?
no subject
Of course! I told him exactly what a stupid idea it was and he blew me off completely. Can you believe it?
[yes.]
no subject
Perhaps this is something he needs to experience for himself before he understands?
no subject
Well, don't look at me to pat his back whenever he realizes that I'm right as always.
