[He isn't going to fuss more than that, they can all take care of themselves. Maybe not Tony, he's a little worried after earlier, but he won't mention it. He promised secrecy.]

[But it's a mark of how far he's come in semi trusting her that he doesn't immediately say no.]

[He switches the video feed on to show the bare boards of one of the houses and Bucky stood in front of one of the walls. He doesn't look too bad. His hair and clothes still need a wash, but he's no worse than the last time they saw one another.
However, when he peels his coat and top off, it's all with his right arm and his left dangles uselessly at his side. He doesn't show any discomfort, even though it's very painful, he's dealt with worse before. The skin around the shoulder is turning black in places and sloughing off to leave open bloody gashes, clearly starting to become gangrenous. He's got it packed with strips of an artist's smock he ripped up for bandages, but it's not doing well at all.
Bucky only leaves the video on for a second or two before he switches it back to audio again.]

Can you use the arm? Have you been switching out the bandages?

I can use the arm if necessary, and I've been doing what I can with bandages. I know it doesn't look good, I'm expecting some amputation.
[He sounds so matter of fact.]

[She kind of wishes she could be there, ugh.]

[That's why he's expecting amputations. He just hopes it comes in time to stave off sepsis, because he really doesn't want to die that way.]
