Happy birthday to the wonderful astolat!

I'm guessing she may not actually see this, because she's off having wonderful adventures in New Zealand, but she's is such a fabulous person I wanted to publically mark her birthday.

She brings so much to fandom with her amazing writing and with a crazy amount of other endeavours (go marvel at Yuletide). I didn't run into her in person until after LJ Fail, when she foolishly said "We need a central archive of our own [...] If I had thirty seconds more time I would just try to do it". Then, er, she did it, and if you think the Archive of Our Own hasn't changed my life, you haven't been paying attention round here. She categorically did not have those thirty seconds, let alone the months and months of time she's ploughed into the project, and it never would have gotten off the ground without her. Part of that time was spent being incredibly patient and supportive as she taught me and others some of her many skills <3

astolat, you're astounding: incredibly multi-talented, lovely and dedicated. You make my world better. I hope you have an awesome birthday \0/
